EDIT: Seller has reimbursed the de saturated roll promptly so I am upgrading this review to 4 stars for now for the prompt customer service and for this previously being a really great gold. Will update again once I receive the new roll. This has been my go to gold for awhile now and has printed flawlessly with a beautiful sheen. My most recent order was significantly less pigmented and less iridescent than the previous 7 rolls. I noticed the spool changed as well, if this is the new gold formula I cannot recommend it as it is very pale in comparison to its previous glory and the pictures on the listing.

It is a much lighter silver. Nice change. Looks closer to metal.

I was worried about how some reviews said theirs was brittle, but I've had no such problems here. It prints well and has the gold sheen that I bought it for. It looks great and I'll probably buy it again.

This filament is beautiful. It worked pretty well for a articulated octopus. But I was trying to print out some valentines day heart fidgets and they broke so easily. I thought maybe it was just the print itself maybe it was too thin, but I used sunlu brand in red with the same exact print and those do not break easily. Im so sad about it cause the color is beautiful. But its so easily broken that it makes it such a waste of time to print something and it not be good quality.

Das Filament lässt sich nicht Drucken da es die Düse aufgrund von Dicken Stellen(bis 2,05 mm) verstopft.

Leider können die Fotos die Farben des Filaments nicht richtig wiedergegeben. Es sieht einfach klasse aus. Ich werde mir bestimmt noch andere Farbkombinationen bestellen!

I always think the signs of a good quality filament is the way it is packaged as it shows that they manufacturers care about how it is stored in the weeks/months between the factory floor and it arriving at the end user. The quality of printing with a filament suffers when it has been exposed to moisture and dust so to receive the silk PLA in a vacuum sealed bag with a silica gel packet inside shows that they care about quality. The packaging also comes with a re-sealable bag which is a nice touch. I've made a couple of test prints and the ease of printing is very good. It behaves no different to normal PLA using the same print settings (I used 210 degrees hotend with a 60 degrees heated bed). Despite some stringing (I probably could get away with 200 degrees hotend) I didn't have any issues with the prints (working first time). Colour is replicated really well (a nice shiny copper look) from the colour on the spool and the finish on the print is really smooth (I printed at 0.2mm layers and 100mm/s speed which explains the visibility of the layers). For price/kg this is a really good choice for all standard of users. Highly recommended.

Das Filament kommt ordentlich verpackt und vor allem trocken an, der Druck hat keinerlei Stringing, heute leider nicht mehr selbstverständlich! Lässt sich sehr gut mit den bambu lab Standard Einstellungen für silk pla drucken. Die Bilder werden dem Farbwechsel kaum gerecht, wirklich glänzend und erstaunlich stabil für silk pla. Auch mit supports lässt es sich gut drücken, Entfernung derer auch sehr einfach. Die Spule ist aus Plastik und auch wenn sie etwas schmaler ist, läuft sie gut in der ams von bambu lab und macht keine Probleme. Rundum ein gutes Filament, besonders geeignet für Deko Objekte und Akzente in anderen drucken.
