I brought this set for my 9-year-old niece.The biggest mistake you can make when starting to create art is to go for cheap materials - you're instantly making yr life more difficult trying to use inferior tools.I was really pleased with this set - I thought it was a good price for good quality pencils.The actual case they come in is really nice and I would happily recommend this set to any other budding artists out there.

I bought this as a Christmas present for a very talented 9 year old and he absolutely loved it. It has everything you need as a beginner or more advanced all presented in a sturdy wooden case.

Great item. Ordered it but it arrived damaged, the handle fell off instantly and the tin was dented. It was apparent that this could not have happened in transit. I was disappointed that it must have been packed although it was damaged - poor quality checking goods.However I order a replacement which came two days later and sent the original back. Glad that process was straightforward but I shouldn’t have had to do it. The second one was fine.
