It is very secure.....It would have to be "Yanked" hard to come out.

Is the lightning cable susceptible to damage given its exposure?

We haven't received any reports of damage and we personally along with family and friends use this product and haven't had problems with damaging the cable.

Are you selling just the keychain or the is a lightening to 3.5 mm adaptor included?
