These masks do not pass a flame test! Not only that, but I wore one out with lipgloss underneath and it began to show on the other side of my mask, something I have NEVER experienced with a blue medical mask. If you really want colored masks like I did, buy them with the intention of doubling up!(Excuse my appearance in the photo, when I noticed I just wanted to snap a super quick pic for a review)

As with cheaper masks, the straps on these masks DO NOT break off under a full day of normal use. The mask's construction holds up well even with adjustments throughout the day. For those that wonder how to tell which side faces out on a black mask, one side of the mask has a noticeably softer side that goes up against your face.I did take off one star due to discomfort of the straps around my ears after several hours of constant use. I've been wearing a softer cloth mask for so long that I'm not used to the thinner straps on disposable masks. In my opinion, all disposable masks are going to have this shortcoming. I definitely recommend buying this mask.

I selected these masks mainly because they are made in the USA, and they are black. I have purchased several different black masks, all made in China, so I was happy to buy these. The fit is not good. The elastics are too big, and not very stretchy. The masks sit very loosely, and I don't feel secure because they are not snug. And I have a big head. No matter how I bend the wire to fit, the exhaled air escapes, making my eyes very dry. Sadly, I have to buy more made in China, because these are useless to me. I really wanted to love them, because I plan to be wearing masks for awhile.

I have bought many disposable face masks and wanted to try one specifically made in USA since many I had were made in China and some individually wrapped. This one was printed made in USA and it came packaged as bundle of 50 in resealable plastic bag. I didn’t try it on and I just felt the material and it seemed thinner in quality compared to other ones that were even made in China. I returned it so I can’t say much anything else but I expected it to be thicker for ASTM level 2 compared to other face masks that had no certification and the inner layer was gray black instead of white like I’d expected.

They are made in USA but are not a medical grade. They do not fit tight but I bought them to wear under a tight fitting 3 ply cotton fabric Mas. They will be good for when I do yard work especially duri,g my allergy season. I would not recommend them for protection unless you wear them under a tight fitting mask. They are lightweight and are not XL as one box of masks I bought last year. I seldom wear those.
