Ukulele Christmas Songbook Paperback – 18 October 2004

The songbook has 29 pages of all the wonderful songs that most of us all play or sing every Christmas season. Plus l strum pattern page and l page front & back with all the chords needed for the ukulele (29 chords) on one side and guitar chords (29 chords) that are needed on the back of that page That is most helpful.. For me, one thing that is missing is the starting pitch diagram that is found in a lot of ukulele books. Because I'm still new to the ukulele after one year, it helps me to figure out what note I'm starting to sing on, when in a large group & I'm still hearing 40 other peoples songs still ringing in my head..

This is a great little songbook. I'm just learning how to play the ukulele, and with this book I was able to play Jingle Bells on the first try. Well done, with a good selection of Christmas songs.

Only had the first verse of each carol, so I shall not be buying any more of Mel Bay Publications Books.

the chords do NOT go with the songs....it's the worst ukulele songbook I have ever bought...a real waste of money....
