Home Depot stopped carrying the correct size filters for this pelican system, turns out Amazon had a cheaper bundle available in these filters! Very happy.

These solid carbon black filters are the best value for the money in this classification.

Good whole house filter to use with water softener

I just had my first bad one out of 15 I've ordered over the years. It was almost 1/4 inch taller than the one I pulled out and the end caps appeared to have been installed a little crooked. This made it so that my filter housing couldn't get turned tight enough to properly seal. It was about 1/4 of a turn away from where it usually is. I placed the old filter back in just for poops and hahas and it sealed up fine. Tried swapping the white rubber pieces on each end of the new cartridge with the old one, still no dice. Luckily I had one more new cartridge left and was able to use it today and that one sealed up perfectly fine.

Fits into our filter system great and our water seems to be cleaner than the other type of filter we use

The filters look very good,they are in good shape since they were really packaged very good but I haven't installed them yet! If they work as good as they look I will be ordering them again!

I’ve been using these for years. They work. Reckon I’ll buy more once these are gone.

I fought with replacing this filter for almost an hour because the canister would not seal against the housing. I tried different O rings but it continued to leak. Cleaned off the O ring surfaces... leaked. I then finally realized that the filter is too tall and does not allow the housing to seal against the canister. I put the old filter back on and presto - no leak.Putting the old filter side by side with the new filter you can easily tell it is visibly longer/taller.

We use these salts a lot while cooking, they are a very good quality, we will be buying is brand from now on. When we initially received the product, there was a duplicate salt, so we were missing one flavor, the customer service was second to none. We can't sat enough about the product and the customer service.

Wording of what they are selling is misleading and they caught me. I thought it was a PACK of 5 filters but it is a single filter of 5 microns in size. Watch out for their wording in their advertising!!!!
