My son is a high jumper and during the spring meets up here in New England, it gets pretty cold and wet. He uses this blanket to stay warm and dry while he is waiting for his turn to compete. Bought this for wet and snowy days spent sitting outside on the deck swing. Snow, rain? The heavy ripstop nylon shell is completely waterproof. Wrap yourself in this thing and it keeps your seat nice and dry. It keeps you warm enough. It's thin, but, like space blankets, they keep the elements from robbing body heat as they trap body heat within; but it does do an admirable job of keeping you warm in freezing weather (31 degrees this morning for an hour). Just got back from sitting outside on a frozen snowy seat. I wrapped myself in this thing and ...ahhh.. :0) Oh, the blue isn't just 'blue' it's a beautiful Royal Blue! Dries fast and is always ready to go. Impressed. Rarely do we get real value for money these days, but this is worth every cent.

This is one of the best Camping/traveling blankets I have used in a long time. For the price, it is worth every penny. It has a smallish footprint and compacts to a small/medium sized bag, and is very well made. I've had issues before where the camping gear you buy, never fits back into the bag/traveling case you first initially take it out of. This blanket is not one of those cases - The blanket easily folds up, and there is an elastic band to help keep it all tied up into a small rollup to fit into the bag. Very convenient!As far as I took this camping over the weekend, with the night time temperatures dropping to the low 50s/High 40s. Using this to keep warm in a camping chair is the business, and the waterproof outer layer is an added bonus. I only used this as my blanket while as I was sleeping, and it provided enough warmth to last me the whole night without me waking up from the cold shivers.Great Traveling blanket - I can see myself throwing it in my car during the Winter months of the year just in case, or during a football game in the fall time - pretty much anytime you need a blanket outside of home, this will be my guy for now on.

I got this for my son-in-law for his birthday. He loved it!! He is a youth pastor and attends lots of sports events of the kids in his youth group & goes to football & baseball games with his dad & brother every chance he gets! The day I gave it to him he was headed to a football game with his dad (unbeknownst to me) and it was raining & cold. He said the blanket was big enough to share with his dad & it kept them both warm & dry. I got it on sale & was definitely worth it and a winner!

Es genial como impermeablea líquidos, pero no me resultó muy útil para brindar calor. La capa externa está separa de la capa interna y eso llega a hacer problemático.
