Why does this have a chocking hazard warning/ The amazon page says "This toy is a small ball. Not for children under 3 yrs."

This doesn't have a ball. Just a plain measuring cup!

Are the markings nist-traceable?

If I heat this cup in the oven, will it crack? We want to try our hand at sugar work and all directions say to heat a measuring cup first

Are the red markings lead and cadmium free? i’ve heard it switched from lead to cadmium which is even more dangerous.
