Calphalon 1943332 Classic Nonstick Sauce Pan with Cover, 2.5 quart, Grey

Heats well on glass top stove.

Pricey and did have a scratch on one pour spout. Still a great pot for sauces; hopefully lasts a very long time!

Very happy with this pan. Works great on ceramic cooktop. I didn't realize how very nice and handy the draining sides would be - no need for a strainer or colander for boiled eggs or potatoes or pasta or whatever else needs straining. It's relatively lightweight but sturdy and solid. I thought the top handle would get too hot to touch when cooking, but it doesn't. I do use a pot holder/mitt when draining though, to hold the top in place just in case the content pushes it open. I'm annoyed with other pans I have that cannot withstand high heat, anything beyond medium setting; this one isn't like that. I have the Dutch oven already but I'll eventually have this in every size available.

Ordered this as a replacement and am very impressed with the side pour spouts and longer slots in lid rims for holding back solids. However the shipping notification were unreliable as the changing shipping status was consistently incorrect. The arrival date and time changed 3 time with the middle one changing from arriving at 10pm to delayed with 3 hours left. It did finally arrive on the third promised date.

I ordered this pot to replace the one my husband brought with him when he moved here years ago. The quality is amazing, and it’s easy to clean even when not left to soak for a couple of hours. Worth the price to replace the one pot in this products set versus spending money on a whole new set for just one pot.

Pan is heavy and strong enough that foods cook as you want. Construction of pan supports the cost of pan. Pan is easy to clean.

Love this Capalon Pan. It is thick, heavy and nothing sticks. I love the lid as it has vents that you can drain liquid with the lid on. Worth paying a little extra!

This sauce pan is enjoyable to use. I have used it mostly for steaming vegetables. I like that there is a pour spout on each side and a strainer so one can pour the water out easily and not lose any vegetables. Well thought out. Easy to clean and store.
