Logitech G533 Wireless Gaming Headset – DTS 7.1 Surround Sound – Pro-G Audio Drivers, Black

After having these headphones for a nearly year, have to say they are amazing, but not perfect. I purchased them for gaming, and was looking at wireless for sake of comfort and mobility. First thing, and probably the most attractive feature, is the wireless. It works even better than I expected, I can go pretty much anywhere in my house, or out on my porch, I suppose I can get up to ~50 feet from the receiver, and still get reception, with exception of near the fridge and the laundry room, probably because of the metal. Now the quality is good, but these are definitely not the best sounding headphones I have. Not to say that they sound terrible, they sound great, but compared to other headphones I've used, these are a notch lower on the quality scale. Sounds are muddier then my Sennheiser 200s, and granted those are much cheaper headphones, I got them used for $40, and they're also not wireless. After some tinkering with the equalizer, I was able to get slightly better sounding audio in my games, and *decent* audio with music. Without a 6.3mm or 3.5mm plug, can't plug it in to my amplifier, so its the best I can do. The audio positioning is amazing, even with DTS surround off, but the quality is awful when its on. And speaking of, don't even bother with the Logitech software features like the surround/bass boost, its just garbage, one of the only useful features is the battery meter. The microphone is amazing quality. To be honest, its near the quality of a blue yeti, which I'd borrowed from a friend to compare, and I suspect that in most scenarios audio compression will make that difference completely unnoticeable. The microphone was problematic for the first few days, but after some tinkering the mic was still quiet, then suddenly started working perfectly. As a matter of fact people I talk to were complaining about "wind" sound when I was talking, so I took a boom cover of another headset of mine that is about the same dimensions and slipped it over the mic, and can still be heard loud and clear without it sounding like I'm blowing into the mic every time I talk. Battery life is what surprised me, as I doubted the advertised 15 hours, but even after almost a year of heavy daily use, I still only charge it every three days, and usually use it for 4+ hours a day. So close enough to 15 hours I suppose. And the cord that comes with it is 6 feet so you shouldn't have a problem charging while in use. The physical quality is amazing. They are very sturdy, not a whole lot of plastic wiggle, and even after a year of heavy use there's no plastic creaking or anything of the like. The cloth mesh earpiece and headband are really comfortable, even in 2+ hour gaming sessions and movies, and better yet they don't get sweaty easily. The cloth mesh is not to hard to take out and wash, (don't know if they are machine washable, just went with the safe bet and washed 'em in the sink) and they've been washed 3 times now and look pretty much as good as when the headphones were new. I do have a few complaints. First about the charger port, I think there should some be something to bracket it in better, I feel like it would be to easy to accidentally bend the connector outwards when its plugged in, but so far no problems or accidents there. The other problem I've had is that if the headset is completely dead, you have to turn it off and let it charge a little bit before you can use them while plugged in, otherwise they with drop connection a lot. Also, though minor, the volume wheel is pretty easy to bump, being on the bottom back of the left earpiece and pretty sensitive, if you wear sweaters be warned!OVERALL: these are definitely my favorite headphones, despite what end up being minor problems when you stack the pros against the cons.If your are looking for good wireless headphones for long gaming sessions these are great! But if you are a stickler for high quality sound you might want to pass, as the quality is lacking and with no option of hard wired 6.3 or 3.5 port, no amplifier :(

I should tell you that I am not a review writing type person but I should write a review for this product. I will be mentioning certain points which will help you to decide whether to buy or not.Look and Feel1. Its earcup size are big. So it will definitely cover almost all kind of ear sizes.2. It is made of very good quality plastic with metal extensions. Also ear-cups easily move so the headset can be used for long gaming sessions3. Earpad are made up of cloth type material and I used the headset in around 30 degree room temperature for 4-5 hours continuously and does not felt sweaty at all.4. Mic is easily retractable and also flexible enough to adjust as per needs5. Very lightweight and does not press hard on head still grips perfectly so that it does not fall when bending head forward or backward6. Battery can be removed. Don't know where I will find this battery which this one wears out. But I hope it will stay for at-least 1 year so no worries7. Battery remains from 100% charge to 2-3% for about 17-18 hours for continuous usage. I tested it and put the actual figures.SoundFor sound part, I was reading many reviews and seeing youtube videos of many famous reviewers to get the information how good the sound of this headset.I suggest to get the information, find the reviewer who has the same headset which is with you. Then you can be on same level how that person review the sound quality. I am mentioning my point of view here:1. Bass is superb. When I turned on the demo of surround sound in Logitech software, my ears were so much shaking and that too on only 55 volume. So have no doubt on bass part2. Yes these headsets are bass heavy but the sound clarity is best. You will get clear mids and highs. Bu default, it comes with flat EQ but when you set it as per your needs, you will get crystal clear sound with plenty of bass.3. It comes with DTSX for headphone surround option. Truthfully saying, it just simply add lots of reverb. So I do not use surround at any time because due to this, sound quality get lost.Price1. I imported this to my country since it is not available here. After adding all, it is a best deal to me.2. Logitech also put a very fair price of the headset without additional gimmicks(RGB light, multiple buttons)Miscellaneous1. It does not work with Razer Surround Pro software.2. I have a USB-A to USB-type C connector. I connected the wireless dongle to one end and connected the type C to my laptop port. Best one, its working flawlessly. By this I get 2 benefits, one is since the dongle is long now I could not be cautious that accidentally I can break it. Second is a free USB port and used empty type C port. :-)Final words:I bought this headphone after lots of research. around 30% review I get that the bass is not good. But I have faith on Logitech so ordered them and I am truly blessed with the bass and sound quality.So I will suggest anyone, who wants to buy, don't think just buy them. You will not be disappointed. :-)

I owned these since April 2021 , and Since then im thoroughly inpressed by this headset. I've owned and refunded A Lot of headsets over the years, Ones more expensive to ones less expensive. I have to say i have dropped mine, too many times, and it works like day one and nothing breaks off. Its studery and very comfortable. I had expensive headsets that were cool and sounded nice but weren't comfortable meterial. There liight weight and wireless. and they hold a charge very well. All around is is on the higher end price, but worth every penny if you want quality lasting headphones.

El G533 de Logitech son maravillosos para escuchar y sentir todo. Tienen un alcance increíble, los puedo traer casi por toda mi casa haciendo otras labores sin desconectarme de mis conferencias en línea. No hay nada perfecto, el G533 es grande y algo pesado comparado con la mayoría de los headsets, pero todo se compensa por la calidad y funcionalidad del audio. Felicidades a Logitech, Hice una excelente compra!
