Q: It looks like this seat does not have screws/bolts to hold it to the toilet. If so, wouldn't this seat be fairly loose and wobbly ?

The fastening system used, while a bit more complicated than other lids, is very secure. It is adjustable, but once you get it into place and tighten it down it does not move. Absolutely no wobbles, and this is coming from a 6'2" 370lb guy, my big butt won't even shake it loose. This seat was replacing a Bemis (which had cracked after two months of use) and the 'Stay-Tite' system used by Bemis was anything but, always coming loose. In comparison, this seat is rock solid, definitely worth it.

All mounting hardware is packed with the seat, including stainless steel screws and mounting bases with stainless steel posts. Installation is not difficult, but it is very different from other toilet seats. Mounting bases attach the toilet bowl first, then attach the seat to the mounting bases. If installed correctly, your set will hold firmly in place. If you have any questions or issues, trained professionals are available 7 days/week a 704-589-1009. Customer service is excellent.

Do not use bleach, abrasives, brushes or harsh chemicals to clean your toilet seat. Clean your seat using a soft cloth and mild dishwashing liquid diluted with water. Diluted multi-surface cleaners (Mr. Clean®, Pine-Sol®, etc.) or chlorine-free disinfecting wipes (Lysol®, Clorox®, etc.) can be used. Rinse your seat with a damp cloth and dry with a soft towel.
