Are these curved carving tools?

Slightly they are not spoon or bowl tools

Theres only two photos no mater which set oli click on. The same set over and over?

I agree this ordering set up is odd but if you look at the description of each set, they are different. If anything you can search the internet using the name of the set (IE " Flexcut 4-pc Super-Wide Format Palm Set") and that will bring the set up where you can see the set pictures.

Do these tools handle hardwoods well?

Most hard woods are usually done by powered drill, simply because it is hard to do with hand held tools. Flexcut are the best hand held tools I have used but they just work better with pecan, toupalo, basswood, cedar, softer woods. Hope this helps

What are the numbers and sizes of these tools?
