Is the stick really big

Compared to Ralph Hardemon's it is not. I even use them for symphonic band sometimes just because the weight is easier to control, but I still want a little bit of volume. Hope this helps!!!

my rubber tip cracked, how can i replace it?

What do they sound like if you use them on tenor drums? What is the effect it gives? Thanks!

It depends on the time of drum heads. I have Removed Clear Pinstripes and the sticks give a very articulate sound. It gives a lot of attack yet somehow decreases the sustain of each note. In summary: you get the same tone and louder attack but less sustain.

Are these sticks the best sticks are these better than dc-50

There's no such thing as a better stick. It's all preference. In this case, the DC-50's are a little shorter than these, but also a little bit larger in diameter. They're both hickory and have the same tip.
