Have a bottle of rubbing alcohol on hand
These parts worked flawlessly on my iPad. First kit I've purchased in a long time that didn't seem thrown together.

What you find out after buying this is that you can not use your fingerprint security functions with this button

Not for devices with Touch ID
This will work with devices that have Touch ID. Unfortunately it causes issues though. An error displays after install and upon resets that mentions the Touch ID is disabled (this button isn’t compatible). Even though the button works as a home button, it heats up and drains battery for some reason. Reinstalled stock button and issue went away. If your device has Touch ID, do not use this product.

button works but mounting very difficult
Mounting is very difficult and aligning bracket to back of button on screen is very tough. adhesive not strong enough to hold bracket when pushing button.

Touch ID/fingerprint doesn't work
Touch ID/fingerprint doesn't work otherwise OK for $10. Wish I knew finger print didnt work before I sealed IPAD up, would have bought one that worked for Touch ID.
