great little east y to use home it is easy to use once program setting are set it comes in a great storage pouch that has room to store the unit, cords and extra electrodes which is convenient . the product is made sand backed by a veruy reputable medical supply company they back their ptrodiucts and are always there to help with problems. it would be a good ides for a non medical person to see a nO.T./P.T. initially to make sure the most approptrisate. program is set to meet your needs. it is very simple once sent up and can be used as a neurmuscula elec stim to re-educate muscles or a transcutaneous electrical stim for pain relief. i use it as a NMes unit to re educate and begin strengthening of flaccid muscles resulting from brain injury. but, i gave one to a froiend to use as a tens unit for pain relief. she also finds it to be a quality easy toi use product people experience different and unique levels of pain relief. sadly there aren’t many if sany products available thaat are safe and effective tio get rid of pain. but, this a good product to give a try battery life is good. and uses an easy tio find battery that is easy to replace.

I suffered a stroke a little over 2 months ago. While in the hospital, the Occupational Therapist used a machine similar to this one on my arm and hand to try to wake the muscles back up. It seemed to work, so when I was released I wanted to continue the same kind of electrical treatment. I asked my outpatient OT what they thought and they felt it was a good idea. I asked them which machine they would recommend and she said she needed to ask around and let me know. She is part of an email group with other OTs around the country, so she sent out an email blast to all of them to see which unit they recommended, and the majority of them all said the Chattanooga Primera TENS/NMES Unit, so that is the one she told me to get (I guess you could say that this product is the recommended choice of Occupational Therapists! ). Anyway, with all of that said, I couldn't be more pleased with this product! It is VERY easy to use and it has helped me regain movement in my arm and hand greatly! The unit comes with a very nice travel bag, as well as a very helpful booklet with diagrams which shows you the proper points to place the electrodes. It even comes with electrodes already in the kit, so there is no need to purchase extra ones until you need them! Everything you need is in the box. I was using it within 15 minutes of opening the box! The other great thing about this unit is that it is TENS and NMES! This is VERY handy (be sure to look up what the difference is)! I have primarily used it for NMES purposes, but recently needed to use the TENS feature and it helped a lot! This is an EXCELLENT product that has made a significant difference in my rehab!

I am using the Chattanooga Nerve stimulate for my Methatarsoles in my left foot after Ankle surgery P13 and they do work in about 2 weeks (1 session daily) my nerves are almost back 60 %. The only thing I wish it had is an alarm when the workout is over and better pads. The pads that came with worn out very quickly they hardly stick after 2 weeks. The therapist ladie told me they should last forever. But they are not. Other way the machine is good enough and I guess so far good enough for me . Hope I can finish my recuperation.

Really love this unit. Was taking a family member to pelvic floor therapy for 5 months and the therapist was using this unit. She used it in the pelvic area, but also the back and hips. She was fantastic, but ended up moving to a different state. We bought one of these ourselves and just continued it self-administered. We had the advantage of watching the therapist do it first, but this unit is not difficult to use. And if you have questions about the different types of electrotherapies just go to YouTube for ideas. I chose this one because it also has the HAN TENS waves, which can be therapeutic for conditions like muscular dystrophy. Or at least it has been for my family member.

Does a great job. I do recommend buying some rechargeable 9 volt batteries with it.

Great product! I am using the NMES program because of lost signal in the nerves in my toes. My PT recommended this device.

Piece of trash. Just stopped working. First signs it was dying it would not raise higher the 10.

The unit does not provide any button or display for the settings of parameters, e.g. rate (Hz), pulse width (us), etc. It cannot be set to the requirements specified by the therapist. User can select up to 14 programs of operation. However, the difference in consequence and result for each program is not elaborate. User is not sure what and how to choose the appropriate one. The price is high probably because of the 14 programs built in but the users should be convinced of its values like its benefits and convenience. How best are these programs as users are not allowed to make any changes?

Combina potencia y portabilidad tanto para aplicación de TENS como de EMS. Los electrodos son resistentes y los cables de adecuada longitud para trabajo con 2 canales. Tiene tiempo predeterminado a 30 minutos en modo TENS y a 15 minutos en modo EMS, aun así, estos tiempos son adaptables a las sesiones de trabajo de rehabilitación. Estoy contenta con el equipo hasta ahora, con 2 semanas de uso regular. Un gran acierto la bolsa transportadora para guardar el equipo y consumibles.
