Great performer, but there are better options...
I bought this card for a HTPC. I wanted the most recent and fastest low-profile card available to date. I bought this one without researching it first. The card came in and it looks beautiful. It's low profile and does not require any additional power outside of the PCI-Express card slot (so no dedicated power supply line). I swapped to the low profile bracket for my case size. One problem I caught right away: The original full-sized bracket has 2 screws in each of the DVI and VGA slot. The HDMI has a single small philips head screw as well, but when you go to the half height adapters, the HDMI screw does not line up! Not even close! I went ahead and installed it anyways, using only the DVI adapter screws to hold the bracket in place (I didn't put the VGA one in, I only HDMI and DVI).Right away, you could tell this isn't going to be a very quiet card. I went ahead and put drivers on. Idle, it's somewhat loud. It may be tolerable in most setups. I wanted my HTPC quiet, though. I verified this card was loud at idle by physically stopping all other fans. It was barely tolerable, IMO. Then, I fired up a game to push this card. It took little time for the fan to hit full speed. This thing was far beyond my ability to stand it's loudness, but more importantly, the high pitched frequency it was loud at! Even with my large floor standing speakers at a decent level, this thing still cut through.I can definitely say it is a great performer! It played all my games without issue, despite being a small mobo-only powered card. However, the noise was too much.I'd recommend doing your research first. I ended up replacing this with the HIS 7750 low profile with the dual coolers. It performs similar, is a similar price, but is far quieter, especially in full load.

Great Graphics card for 73$,not for 93$
So i bought this card about month ago when price was 73$ and for that price IT's THE BEST THING EVER,i tried battlefield 3 on 1366X768 (because that's the monitor i have currently) and at ULTRA settings everything turned on at maximum 4x msaa,16x antialiasing etc (except motion blur i hate it) even at caspian border it stayed nicely at 35-40 fps but my aging e8400 is bottlenecking it quite nicely so i guess you'll get around 50FPS if you have modern CPU,as for temps,it stayed at 70 degrees maximum at 70% fan speed (i have custom fan speed curve in afterburner) and at idle its around 35-40,at up to 50% its inaudible but at 70% if i listen carefully and theres no TV turned on i definetly hear it but at 100% its CLEARLY audible but you won't need it its running cool,it also looks TOO MUCH sexy for 73$ graphics card,OVERALL,if you have 720P or 768P you'll crush almost every game at ultra settings but you most likely will have 1080P screen and it will deilver smooth framerates around medium settings at some games you may be able to crank that damn slider to high,if you grab it for 73-75$ GO FOR IT,but currently its priced 93$ so i'm not recommending at this price because you can grab r7 250x at that price which performs better

Best 65.50$ Ever spent.
Alright, I got this card when it dropped to 65.50 with prime shipping! From a 5770 that idled at 90C I DID NOT except much. But holy crap!I could play crysis 2 on 720p with a very fluent 60FPS and BF3 with some settings like AA/ AF lowered on Ultra and still got 60fps on 720P.Titanfall runs VERY VERY INSANELY well on this card. And it doesn't even need a power supply 6 pin connection. My specs a very decent but with this card, my PC felt brand spankin new.AMD Athlon 2 X4 6354gb DDR2 800MHZThis video cardHyper 212+So if you want huge performance increases, this is a HUGE bang for your buck. Also the card runs very cool at 30C and 50C Under load!If you have a slim line PC, I highly recommend this card, it uses only 65 watts but the performance is beast. I would recommend this to people who want performance for under 100$, don't get the R7 240, this card is worth the 10 more dollars. Also, it comes with 2 low profile brackets with it.Sure, you can get a nvidia but this is an amazing budget card for people who want to play games with a good framerate and have game runs at good settings.

Skyrim went from unplayable (10-20 frames per second at low quality) to quite good (45-60fps at high quality)
I have an older system (Core 2 Quad Q6600, 4GB DDR2, Radeon HD 2400 Pro). I wanted an inexpensive upgrade to try to milk some gaming life out of the system, and boy did this card fit the bill. Skyrim went from unplayable (10-20 frames per second at low quality) to quite good (45-60fps at high quality). I really wasn't expecting that drastic of a difference; I just wanted some of the games on my shelf to be playable. I am very happy with this purchase. I will mention a couple of little nitpicks...My motherboard has a latch for the PCI-Express slot that is now covered by the large fan housing. Did the fan housing really need to stretch the length of the card? I hope I never have to remove it. Also, the back end of the fan housing has the XFX logo in glossy black letters, so they put a piece of plastic over them to protect the logo. Really? On a part that is INSIDE the case? But, again, minor nitpicks. The card works great.

It's okay if you buy it when it's on sale. I got it for $60.
Low profile brackets: The primary bracket doesn't have a screw hole for the hdmi port, meaning the hdmi port can be easily bent/broken if you're not carefully plugging in the hdmi. Also, the separate VGA bracket requires you to flex the fan shroud away from the card or remove the shroud altogether to fit.Fan: While not excessively loud, produces an annoyingly high pitched whine which you WILL hear over gameplay.Performance: Great bang for the buck, look at tech reviews for details.

Great value for average buyers
Although this card does great and produces a quality resolution, it did not work for the one game I truly purchased it for. immediately after install and proper updating, the game began to get constant crashes, DC's and failures to recognize. Working with the admin I realized it just had to be the new GPU. I replaced the old GPU and failures went away. Other then that I think it looks and performs great so I think it is still a solid buy for most consumers

Recommended if don't care about the noise of the fan
One of the fastest low profile cards on the market but on the noisy side a bit, also the low profile brackets don't align very well with the vga port. On surfing - video playback stays quiet but on gaming makes noise... so my htpc is not quiet as i wanted. At least doesn't get high temperatures with this small fan.Recommended if don't care about the noise of the fan.
