Carlson 8-Panel Foldable and Portable Steel Pet Exercise and Play Pen

This was definitely worth the $. I have a small dog who reacts very strongly to insect bites and another small dog who gets very warm. The mesh playpen is very sturdy and lets the air move through it very nicely. The bottom is also mesh. At first I wasn't really sure about this but it worked out nicely when a rambunctious puppy dumped the water. No mess to clean up as it just ran through and absorbed in the ground. I didnt fasten the top on the playpen but it worked well to provide shade and keep the bugs out. All in all, this has been great for letting our pups relax with us while camping. I have two dachshunds, one is 11# and the other is 15# and we also had a 7# morkie puppy on one camping trip. It is big enough for all the dogs after a day of playing and hiking (they were all tired out).

We purchased this for our new puppy and what a great investment. It allows us to do chores inside without worrying about what she is eating or chewing and gives us a break if she has tired us out! We also have a safe place to keep her while we are outside and a real life saver (literally) when we sit around the fire while camping. Easy to set up, take down and clean! And last but not least, it has a handy carrying case. Love it. Keeps our little girl safe!

This has worked great for my 2 dogs. Easy clean, easy set up, no problems with the mesh, large enough for both dogs. Only complaint is one of the attachments ripped from the top of the frame within a week of owning. I have resewn and hopefully it will hold.

We put our two dogs in this while doing yard work. They could see us from every direction and did not fuss at all. Also it sits right on the ground and because it is all mesh if the puppy has an accident it does not matter. The pee just goes into the grass and the other you can just pick it up and move on. We sprayed it off on the driveway incase there was any accidents and it dried in about 15 min in the sun. Folded it up and put it back in the cover. We got it to travel with but it is great around the house inside or out!!!!

We just got a baby monster (puppy) and I looked for what seemed to be ages (to be real, mayyyyyybe 32 minutes) for something to contain him while we can't give him our undivided attention. I saw a lot of those pop up styles, but I have no idea what kind of puppy would spend even 4 minutes in there before it would become just a large hamster ball. I've even seen videos here of pups enjoying doing that. This playpen, however, has nice solid metal bars (better to keep monsters contained) and can be opened and closed in a jiff. I cover the bottom of the pen with a pee pad blanket which makes clean up super easy. I can't say the above mentioned monster loves being stymied in this playpen, but I love knowing he is safe inside and everything outside is safe from bitty razor teeth.

There is not much to say other than you need to buy this. The mesh is not cheaply made it’s very thick and durable. It sets up super easy and quick. Has a bag to keep it in. I have the 6 panel and this is plenty plenty big enough for my Yorkie. I would say a medium sized dog would have plenty of room as well.

This is a great concept except my puppies broke the door zipper day two. Then the top "umbrella" supports came through the material and finally. I stepped on the lock to stabilize the pen and it bent out of shape. At this point it is useless to me having it for less than two weeks.

Good quality material and easy set up and closing. However, the pass through is about big enough for a chihuahua. There is no way for humans to get in and get pet out. The sides are to tall to step over. If the pet doesn't come to you to lift over and out you have to start to tear down playpen to try to get to animal. Which is dangerous for both the human and pet. I bought this for rabbits and chickens which WILL not come to you! The bottom floor also does not zip out so you can have animals on bare floor or ground. No easy clean as described unless you want to get in and try to scrub the mesh. I did not try the canopy as I was disappointed to find out the above. I packed it it and requested refund and return.

Great product. Folds easily, lightweight, looks fun and airy, my pet is secure and safe, comes with carrying case making storage and portability a breeze.

Good size for small animals BUT not if it is a cat that can jump and you are afraid will run away. The roof part is not attached except at a post so any animal can escape through it. Also the zipper on the little door broke the first time opening it. I returned it immediately.
