Another Good One from Angela Marsons
Kim and her team are looking for a missing child. Eight year old Grace Lennard was taken from outside her preschool after the fire alarm sounded. Unexpectedly dapper Steven Harte steps into the station claiming to have information about the abduction of Grace, but it quickly becomes clear that Harte has his own agenda, which includes playing a mind game with Kim. Meanwhile, Alex Thorne's parole hearing is approaching, and she has several plans to ensure that she will be out of jail. One of those plans involves getting in contact with Kim.Stolen Ones is another great addition to the DI Kim Stone series. Many familiar characters appear in the story, and we get another peek into their lives outside the station. As always, Marsons offers several clues and red herrings that bring the reader along on the journey as the team looks into the disappearance of Grace and several other young girls over the period of at least 25 years. The reappearance of Alex Thorne adds another level of suspense to the story. Overall, Stolen Ones is an engaging mystery that kept me guessing right up to the end of the book.

Suspenseful addition to an excellent series
I have really enjoyed this series. The characters are well developed and continue to grow and change throughout the series. The books are all tightly written and suspenseful. I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys a good mystery, thriller or police procedural.
