I can’t get enough of this maple cream! I’ve been using it in my espresso, and it adds the most incredible flavor. When I first opened the container,it appeared to be about 1/3 empty, so I thought I was ripped off. But after weighing the container, it happens to be 466 grams, which is about 1.03 pounds. So I guess it's not as empty as it looks. If the container was full, it would probably weigh 1.3 pounds. This product is pretty good value, even by Canadian standards (I'm Canadian and this is about what we pay). The flavour is pretty good, it appears to come from a darker amber which is nice. It's softer than usual, so it won't become a rock in the refrigerator (this is usually what happened to most maple butters). The only problem is that there are quite a few crystals in this. It's almost like it's crunchy. It's not a big deal, I would give this 4.5 stars if I could. It's nice to see that a smaller family farm can compete price-wise.

Excellent Maple Butter. Sometimes it needs stirred up and its a little bit thinner,richer tasting and darker color than other brands. Taste great on many different foods especially breakfast foods and especially good in oatmeal.

I first tried Maple Butter on a cruise to Canada. When I got home I went looking for some locally. I couldn't find it so I turned to Amazon. There were several choices, but this had the best price and good reviews. I'm so glad I tried it. Everyone in the house likes it. It has smooth, creamy, texture and even though it's kept in the fridge it's easy to spread. The Maple Butter is great on toast, bagel, croissants, etc. The maple flavor is strong but not overpowering. I highly recommend it.

My first time ordering this product. IDK if I received the right product or not, as the packing is not even the same color as shown in description (?), but it is unreturnable soooo... just a heads-up for others thinking about ordering it. It had a nice long shelflife. The consistency is thick, but also looks kind of "broken", or slightly "separated". I'm not sure if that is normal or not, as the description photo shows it very smooth and I have never had it before. Maybe it just needs a good stir first, but I don't see that instruction anywhere on the packaging. The taste I had was insanely delicious, reminded me of the maple topping to a maple bar donut. **I hope to hear from the Manufacturer or Seller of this product with answers to my comments. This will determine if I buy this brand again, or not.

This is going to be a problem. I purchased some maple cream on here after searching every grocer nearby here to no avail. Why did I need it? I read about it and thought, well, heck, why not? It sounded great. Well, it was great, and I am in deep trouble. We love this stuff. It has a lucious consistency, and the scent is absolutely intoxicating. We have stirred this into our lattes and then sprinkle with a tiny bit of some flakey salt for a divine salted maple cream latte. I walk by the fridge and steal a small scoop at random. Spread on toast? Yes. Spread on pancakes and crepes? Yes!!!!!! There is my life before maple cream, and now my life after. If you are waffling (ha!) on whether you want to pick this up or not, the answer is yes, yes you do.
