Chainsaw Chaps 8-Layer Protective Apron Wrap Adjustable Chainsaw Pants/Chap for Loggers Forest Workers Class A

I am 6' and weigh 140. These are made with plenty of adjustment to fit me and up to much bigger guys. The legs over lap as they wrap around your leg with plenty of adjustment on the 4 straps on each leg. They go on and off quickly, which is good, because they are very hot in warm weather. I had a minor cut on my knee before I got these. That was still very scary. Safety equipment is a good investment, if you use it. They're no good sitting the truck or the shop. You must wear them. Way cheaper than a trip to the ER.

Really great chaps they fit alot like pants on the calves which is really nice so you don't trip on them like I used to with my other chaps

I've used this chainsaw chaps for twice and I would like to say yes to this product. Normally I wear 37'' long jeans. so I bought the chainsaw chaps in size 36''-38''. As shown on lables and documents, the chainsaw chaps conforms to the standard ASTM F1897-14 and the newest standard ASTM F3325-19, along with OSHA Regulation 1910-266 and ANSI Z133.1 Standards. UL tested & certified. These are paramount for protective garment since they are directly related to our safety when operating tools like chainsaws. Nothing compares to safety.I won't mind how expensive the truly effective protective garment is. And the price is reasonable. As told and felt, sturdy 1000D Oxford Polyester technical protective material is rugged and durable.Good for you. What else I would recommend about the product itself could be their special design:a proper side pocket with snap closure, adjustable straps with standard buckles, adjustabale waist sizes and folding waistband with aligned buttons.I would wear the chainsaw chaps everytime if I am ready to log because the product can reduce the risk and severity of injury by providing cut resistance that slows and stops the running chain for chiansaw operators when unexpected contacts happened. I would feel safe when I am wearing them. I hope these information can help to decide since they really helped me to choose protective garment products. Rememer to use personal protective equipments when you are going to do some dangerous cutting or others.

never got to use them way to long might of been my mistake but check size close

Their cut was not symmetrical - one side significantly larger than the other, they wanted to shift outward to the side instead of staying in front, the groin area opening would always shift due to the poor design and weight distribution with one side being larger and thus heavier. The material quality itself seemed very good, but the design/overall quality control is what I couldn't tolerate. I returned them and purchased another brand that I am much happier with.
