I've always had one of these in my bedroom but it only had time and outside temperature this one has both indoor and outdoor which is awesome! It also has a color screen which is more visible and you can select what color you want.

This is a nice, compact clock, relatively easy to set up, but as others have mentioned it's rather small and even more of an issue, the image it projects onto the ceiling is also small so if you need glasses (which of course you don't wear in bed) it's likely the time/temp numbers will be too small to read.Another issue, baffling to me, is that if the clock is placed on your night stand so that the numbers are facing you, the projected image on the ceiling is sideways. It can be rotated 180 degrees but that does not help (goes from sideways in one direction to sideways in the other). You need to be able to rotate the image in 90 degree increments and as far as I can tell only LaCrosse brand clocks offer this feature.

Despite reviews that said it was easy to set up, I say NOT. Instructions were very confusing and print so small that it was almost impossible to read.And, I question the accurateness of the outdoor remote sensor, seems to project temps way higher than actual temp.

I needed a new alarm clock but when I tested it out on this I ended up getting a different alarm entirely it's vary faint and even up close to my bed it wouldn't be loud enough to wake me up in the morning. Everything else about the alarm clock is fine but the alarm itself is pretty weak.
