Nut lube
Works great if you know how to apply it right. Deffintly helps with tuning stability and eliminates pinging.

Excellent and cheaper alternative to Nut Sauce
Used the famous "Nut Sauce" guitar lube for years and while nothing is wrong with it, the price is a bit steep these days. After hearing my guitar tech recommend this TUNE-IT lube as all he uses, I picked up a tube and he was correct, practically same stuff as Nut Sauce but cheaper, and more of it. Comes with two little plastic applicator sticks to get into right areas. Every single guitarist should have this applied to their guitar at all times, it really helps keep the guitar in tune. I was having issues with my Bigsby on a Gretsch staying in tune, and after a professional setup and decently sized application of this TUNE-IT on the nut and bridge (any moving parts, too), it's staying in tune finally. Life saver, can't recommend this enough.

Works Good, But Not Sure It's Any Better Than Others
Like all the other MusicNomad products I've tried this nut lube seems to work fine. Unlike their other products, it doesn't seem to be better than other existing products. They often seem to find a way to make a better solution for an existing product. This time it's just OK, and I find that squeezing a tube doesn't deliver the lube as precisely as other products that use a syringe. It kind of oozes out and starts going in different directions, whereas the previous product I had that used a syringe put the lube exactly in the nut slot. I'm also skeptical about actually getting all of the lube out of the tube when it starts to get low. I suspect some will get wasted and never come out. Another difference is that most other competing products come in a clear container, so you can see how much lube is left. I took off 1 star purely due to it being in a toothpaste-style tube. The quality of the lube itself seems fine, but not necessarily any better than other products I've tried.

it really works!
This product lives up to its word, I applied a tab to the nuts and saddles of all my basses and instantly noticed how much better tuning worked. notes are more clear and stable. Before I would just use graphite from a pencil which is better than nothing but this really allows non constrained movement for the string to do what its going to do. highly recommend this to other bass players.

Give your strings a break
I use this every time. I change my strings and apply just a tiny bit with the “brush“ that is supplied, in the grooves of the head nut and on my electric guitar inside the openings of the string guides. On acoustic instruments I will also use it in the bridge nut grooves. You wouldn’t think such a minuscule amount of anything would make such a difference when you tune up, but it helps your strings stretch as their tension and not “catch“ anywhere they need to bend at an angle. Great product. I’ve been using it for years.

Simple yet effective solution to Les Paul tuning issues
I rarely review items, but this item is an effective, simple and inexpensive solution to the problem I had with my Les Paul Studio going out of tune. I really like the Les Paul I own, but I just couldn't use the darned thing live because I could not keep it in tune. The internet is filled with information on this - mostly around the headstock angle, tuner issues and the cut of the nut. But my guitar had been Plek'd and professionally set up - I did not want to try and modify the thing and potentially introduce new issues. I thought the TUNE-IT Lubricant would be a low-cost way to try something that was non destructive, and I couldn't be more impressed. 15 minutes of loosening the existing strings and lubricating the nut absolutely did the trick. I plugged in and really hammered on the thing with heavy bending of the strings and could not replicate the problems I'd had before. This should be a first stop for others in trying to correct tuning problems. I am also convinced it will extend the life of the strings as well based on what it is and what it's effect produces. Great product! Thank you!
