An Essential Addition for Finance Enthusiasts.
This book is an absolute gem for anyone immersed in the world of trading and investment. I highly recommend engaging with the 'practice questions' provided at the end of each chapter. They serve as an invaluable tool to consolidate your understanding and reinforce the key concepts covered. Every dollar invested in this book is truly worthwhile.

Black and white book. Not sure if original.
The book came in good conditions, but all the book is black and white. I am not sure if it is original, it looks like a high quality printed book, but the pages are simple.

Great for non finance people that want to challenge themselves.
With this book plus ChatGPT for clarifications and exam taking....I think I'm doing quite well so far. This book is great for taking your trading strategies to the next level if you already have some experience with options like bull spreads etc but you are new into futures and other derivatives. It provides context and practice.

The go-to textbook for derivatives, period.
If you're getting serious about derivatives, this is the book everyone points you to — and for good reason. John Hull’s Options, Futures, and Other Derivatives is pretty much the industry standard for learning how the mechanics of options, futures, swaps, and risk management really work.Let’s be clear: this book is not light reading. It’s academic, math-heavy, and laser-focused on building a deep understanding of how derivative pricing and hedging actually function. But the explanations are clean, the logic is solid, and Hull does a great job walking through Black-Scholes, binomial trees, Greeks, and more without drowning you in unnecessary complexity. It’s used by top universities, CFA/FRM programs, and trading desks all over the world — so if you're aiming for quant roles, risk management, or anything in derivatives, it's a must-have.Not a page-turner, but a serious weapon for anyone who wants to master derivatives. It won’t hold your hand, but it will make you sharp.

This is the book to read if you want to understand the formulae and valuation models. Written clearly; excellent graphics; excellent supporting materials downloadable from author's website. Excellent source for understanding the theoretical concepts of options and futures.Book does not cover options trading trading strategies. To become more successful trader or learn trading strategies, not the best book.
