I recently took this map for I and my husband’s trip to London. If you are traveling in central London, within the footprint of the Underground, this is a terrific map. Type is a little small, but the more I used it, the easier it was to quickly see where we were or needed to be. The laminated fold out held up well in all weather, and it collapsed quickly into standard business envelope size. Easy to carry in a pocket or purse. I recommend it highly. It made a nice companion to the Rick Steve’s London guide.

Love this map because it's laminated. Wonderful to have the alphabetized street names, Tube stations, points of interest, and Tube station map all in the same place. Plus, I marked places important to me with permanent marker which I can remove with some alcohol. Don't travel without one of these maps.

Pros: Compact size (about 11" by 4" when folded), laminated, good detailCons: London is a BIG city and it's hard to fit it all on a compact map. If you're looking to get a bird's eye view of the entire city, this will come up short. Smaller sections are nicely highlighted, but it's hard to get a sense of how close areas are to one another. Also, the map ends about halfway through Notting Hill to the west, and there's not a lot of street detail for neighborhoods in East London. Still looking for a map that will stretch a little further.

Loved this map. We own several of them from different counties and do easy to plan your vacation during to layout. Highly recommend it!

I bought this and the Paris map on a whim before my trip. I really don’t like to pull out my phone too often when I am out of town for fear of phone snatching so I figured I would use the map to find my way and as a back up in case my phone died. But I ended up using the map very infrequently so I consider this a bad purchase.. It was easier to use my phone’s GPS most of the time to orient myself and get directions. Pro: As a visual person, I liked that it had illustrations of major landmarks and attractions in each area which was helpful when I planned my itinerary.

I love this kind of map. It is very helpful in my family’s future plans to travel. We have been planning and the map is easy to understand.

Comprehensive but print is really small--need bright light or a magnifying glass.I usually use my phone but wanted an overview. I would prefer a full-sized map for that rather than half on front and half on back.
