Got this dog bed to replace the bed in my dogs crate. He has arthritis and this new mattress is letting him sleep really comfortably.

I bought this for my son's dog that recently moved in. We have a different one we bought for my dog. It has a material that you can feel the coolness. Summer my dog loves it. This bed doesn't feel the same but we will see. It is cold now so hard to tell. However my son's dog loves it. He stopped stealing my dogs bed and he is sleeping and laying on it all the time. Even if it doesn't cool we are getting a calmer house and it is decent quality.

I live in Texas and our summers get into the 100s (degrees), so I wante one thing to keep my baby cool. I do keep the AC on, but only to about 75 degrees. My cat sleeps on it instead of the hardwood floor, so I’m guessing it’s not too hot.She loves it and it keeps the cat hair off the couch. I just move it when company comes over and I don’t even have to vacuum.Great purchase!

Please don’t waste your money! As soon as I opened it I knew it wasn’t waterproof or even water resistant at all! It was definitely not cooling either. I layer my arm on it and my arm heated up. However it was soft so I thought maybe my dog would still enjoy it. He’s never turn up any other dog bed but after being in his crate with this for under an hour, I came home and it was completely shredded (see picture)! My couch pillows are more durable than this! I would never recommend using this for a dog, unless your dog has no teeth and no nails. It’s definitely not suitable as a dog bed, zero durability!Update: To make matters worse, the seller offered me a refund and then never complied with their offer. Instead the seller has messaged me about 5 times with different offers such as $8 back after I accepted the refund offer. Not only is it a bad product, but the seller is horrible. If you buy this and have an issue expect to be harassed.

Got this bed for my dog's crate to protect her elbows. It is very soft and provides a lot of support without being bulky. Holds its shape fine. The "cooling" side does actually feel cooler than the other side, which is neat. I have a husky who is always hot so any kind of cooling is beneficial for her. The cover removes easily, although it is easier to have 2 people to put it back on just because of the size. I've washed the cover multiple times now and so far it's holding up fine. Washed in cold water and dried on low heat. No shrinking.The waterproof part is misleading. My dog has stomach acid issues and it causes occasional vomiting. Each time she's done this, the liquid soaked right through and into the foam. This is the case for liquid on the top as well as the bottom soaking up through the bottom of the cover. I've been able to spot clean the foam, but not as thoroughly as I'd like and it's awkward. Don't rely on this for the "waterproof" description, and avoid if you have a puppy not quite house-trained or an older dog with incontinence. Even if you catch it soon after it happens, it will soak through.I like the bed for the cushioning and support, and the cooler side. It's hard to rate this because it's a good bed and the cover does wash well, but that complete lack of any waterproofing forces me to rate it lower.
