Very good value.
Very good value for the price. The solar charging works well to keep units charged and functional through the night, and even on cloudy days. Actually is working very effectively to keep deer & other critters out of my small corn patch. I will purchase additional units.

This is probably a defective one.
This is probably a defective one. I purchased this item before and worked fine. Unfortunately after installed it and waited days, it passed the return windows. This item barks all the time at night, making it impossible to tolerate. I worried that neighbors will complain.

Alarm sounds and scares off anything
Alarm loud enough to cause a fright. Alarm will sound for a short time only.

Definitely helps
The alarm seems too work good , I placed mine closer to the ground to keep from picking up every branch , that made battery life last so the solar charger keeps it charged

Sorta good; sorta not so much
Good- they're loud and bright!Not so much- they frequently go off for no reason. When the first arrived I had them sitting upside down (i.e., with the sensor facing down) charging. One went off for no reason (scared me to death!) which set off the other one. They kept retriggering each other. I finally took them outside and separated them but endured five minutes of non-stop cacophony before they stopped!The sound vaguely resembles dogs barking but it's mostly just loud noise.One stopped working after it got rained on- started again after it dried out. The other (seemingly) gets tripped by a mosquito flying by about 30 feet away! It depletes its battery pretty quickly from going off constantly.Finding the right setting is a challenge.

So far so good!
I bought these to keep raccoons away from my trash cans. After a few nights of raccoons digging through my recycling I put up this solar alarm. Not more problems!

Loud and bright
I bought three different ones to keep deer out of my garden. This has loudest sound and brightest light. Doesn't cover as large an area as others due to distance motion activated works but sufficient for my needs. Also narrower area covered but the best choice of the three tested.

Terrible quality randomly goes off constantly
Terrible quality this thing goes off all day long randomly never has a charge overnight because it just keeps turning itself on over nothing
