It works beautifully
I'm very pleased with this. I'd been fighting algae for the last 2 years. Even though I had been super shocking it , it came right back because I forgot to add algaecide after the chlorine level dropped... That's on me. So as I was putting it up for the winter I added this and I didn't want to close it. Lol It's not looked that good in awhile.

with the winterizing algicide you won't know if it did a good job until the spring/summer. SOOOO, we shall see. I like just being able to pour into pool without a lot of different steps. I just make sure that all your levels are very high and then pour in pool (spread around), without filter on. You do not filter this. It goes in just before you put the cover over the pool. So, hopefully it will be as clear when I open as it was when I closed.

Best algaecide for winter! Our pool opening always sucked because it was so green. Tried this over winter, pulled the cover back to start opening and was amazed by how clear it was! Opening will be a breeze!
