Apple 2021 MacBook Pro with Apple M1 Pro Chip, 14-inch, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD Storage, Silver (Renewed)

Like many of you I was very nervous about buying a refurbished laptop not from Apple. However, this one came from Loop-Mobile, and it was pristine and had just 97 battery cycles. All in all, it was in perfect condition, without any scratches or blemishes, and worked 100% like it should. I was extremely happy, but had to return it as I found out my job was cutting my wages in between the time when I ordered it and when it arrived, as the budget had changed for 2024. I have shipped it back and am waiting for a full refund, so hopefully I can edit this review if I have any problems. Overall though I'm 100% satisfied with my purchase from Loop-Mobile, which stated it was in "excellent" condition. Update: they processed the refund within one day of receiving it, so 5 stars all around for Loop-Mobile.

I had been using an early 2015 MacBook Pro retina that was starting to go (bad battery and broken top set of keys), so I spent A LOT of time researching which MacBook to buy in 2024. to make a long story short, between watching YouTube and reading reddit posts, i decided to buy a 2021 14 inch MacBook Pro M1 Pro MacBook *particularly* from seller WOOT as I heard nothing but amazing things about both computer and seller. I have to say that I was worried (and slightly disappointed) that apple had discontinued my old MacBook (it was my favorite MacBook of all time), but this MacBook is not only as good, but might even be better (I need to test it out some more before I make a final decision). I use my MacBook for casual web browsing, watching content, etc, so I didn't need a total beast of a machine, but my goodness, this thing is SUCH an upgrade from the intel chip, the screen is SO MUCH BRIGHTER, and it's just overall an extremely sturdy-feeling, well-built machine. I know a lot of people may be put off by purchasing a used/refurbished MacBook (I know I was!), but just research which MacBook you want, and look at the feedback of the sellers before you purchase. I cannot recommend the seller WOOT enough. top-tier customer service. if anything changes, i will update my review, but as of the time of this review, I am THRILLED! remember, just do your research (MacBooks are a big purchase!), and I also recommend buying accessories such as port covers (VERY cheap on here), a case to protect the outer shell, and a sleeve if you plan to travel with this! FANTASTIC computer that I hope to use for another 8-10 years.

one star because the seller is just a random Amazon seller not a qualified tech company The two biggest issues have nothing to do with the computer itself, rather the accessories that come with it, the charger and cable, which are both cheap knock offs, and the sellers overall handling of that Number one the charger is a cheap knock off no branding. I’ve seen tons of them on Amazon ranging anywhere from $10-$20. The reason this is an issue is its a “smart charger“ and will send more power to the computer than the computers battery can handle For people who understand computers, skip this specific part obviously but for people that don’t it is necessary that the charger is from a reputable brand because the way that a computer receives power from a charger is through what’s called a handshake put simply the charger and computer need to communicate to each other how much power needs to be received/sent to not damage the computer the charger that’s included with the computer does not do that The overall battery health of the computer I bought was at 91% when I started to use the charger that was included the battery health we t down to 88% within two weeks It frustrates me that a product of this price range can include such a terribly cheap accessory that will destroy the battery and that is unacceptable i now use a apple charger and cable and the battery health since then it has stayed the same When you’re spending $1700 you should get a good charger. Number two experience with the seller I messaged the seller on October 18th and didn’t receive anything until October 28 and I believe the only reason they responded is because I texted them that day, reminding them about my concerns with the computers included charger To make it as short as possible, since this is a long review, the only thing that they will do is do an exchange they will not even acknowledge the fact that the charger will damage the computer the only thing they mentioned is that they do not include original accessories Even after I explained how frustrated I was, I could tell that all they’re doing is just copying and pasting messages based on my response so I know that there’s no way of actually resolving this issue So far I have no real issues with the computer itself I just cannot believe how the company can include such a bad charger

Buying an Apple product from this seller is a high-risk gamble, so please be aware of that. My MacBook Pro came without the original Apple box and a knockoff charger. Thankfully, there are no scratches on the outside or the screen, and no damage to the keyboard (from what I can tell). The battery was 84% maximum capacity. I would take the other reviews into serious consideration. People often mentioned how over time the battery life got worse. This is because of the charger that they are giving you. I highly recommend you buy a real Apple power adapter or one from a reliable brand. Other than that (so far) everything seems to be working fine. This is a good option if you’re looking to save money. But again, be very cautious and aware of the risks when purchasing from this seller.

This has been working amazingly and was a very good value for the money would buy again from this company. They even reached out after a month to ask if we were still pleased with the purchase and that it was running smoothly.

Estéticamente vino bien, el cargador incluido es de las réplicas más básicas que podria ser, parece para celular comprado en la calle. La salud de la bateria decía estar al 89% por lo que pensé había sido una buena compra, sin embargo la misma dura alrededor de 4 horas, que si bien no es crítico, cambie a Mac por las supuestas más de 10.Horas de bateria.

Ya se cumplió un año de uso y puedo recomendar al 100%. Me llegó solo con 4 ciclos de carga, prácticamente nueva y hasta la fecha no ha habido ninguna sola falla. De las mejores inversiones que he hecho.

Llegó como nueva en una caja blanca dentro de otra más grande. No le encontré rasguños. El cargador es nuevo al igual que el cable. Sólo tres ciclos de batería.
