Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink Pads Bundle of 4 Colors - Cracked Pistachio, Broken China, Faded Jeans and Peeled Paint

I generally make and sell between 150 - 200 greeting cards per year to benefit our local libraries, and I like to design my own background paper, usually with watercolors. I found some videos on YouTube that showed how to use these Distress Oxide Ink Pads to color backgrounds and decided to give them a try. The crafters in the videos used special tools to stamp these distress inks, but all I used were wadded up bits of plastic food wrap--one wad for each of the four colors. The wrinkles in the plastic wrap gave an interesting abstract pattern to the stamped ink. Please see customer image for an A2 (5.5" x 4.25") baby card where the sky background has been stamped using all four colors in this pack: cracked pistachio; broken china; faded jeans; and peeled paint.If you spritz your paper with water either before or after you add the ink, the colors will blend together.

the colors in this grouping are wonderful, excellent blends. I think this is the best new product I've seen in many years. Lives up to the hype

I am a cardmaker and I struggle with ink blending. But these Distress Oxides make it so much easier to work with. The colors are beautiful, not as vibrant as regular Distress inks. Delivery was prompt and arrived safely with no damage.

Creamy, bright colors! Easy to use and so many different techniques on YouTube! Love love these Oxide Inks! So very different from any other ink I’ve ever used in my mixed media art work! I’m hooked now and must get more LOL!
