Great for prioritizing daily tasks. 4.5 stars.
I liked this notepad for tracking daily tasks. I really need a one-day-at-a-time planner / to do list and this was helpful. I liked having the different task bubbles and the checklist on the side.As someone with ADHD, this is a useful to do list because you can focus on one day at a time without having to obsess about other tasks you need to do that month.I have two issues with traditional planners. One, is that I have have to be able to look at one day at a time (without seeing the whole week every time) because looking at a whole month or whole week triggers overwhelm when I have a lot of tasks on my plate. Two, too much white space is also hard because then I'm thinking about all that space I need to fill. And with general to do lists, they often don't prioritize by the type of task and the urgency level. This notepad was great for just focusing on today with a section for tasks that can wait until tomorrow. I like that it has sections for general tasks and a different section for appointments and another one for phone calls/emails that need to be done. It's simple and clear without having too many bells and whistles. The only negative for me is that since it is a daily to do list only, I don't have a quick view of the week as a whole and sometimes I might forget something that I was supposed to move to later in the week.Sometimes my priorities change as new assignments come in, so I need both a short view / to do list for the whole week and then daily task sheets to show me just what I need to do for that day. I ended up buying another planner that does both so I can quickly reference upcoming tasks, but I have one page per day to see what is immediately in front of me.I would rate the Adulating Note Pad 4.5 stars because it is great for those who need to just focus on the day at hand without getting overwhelmed or distracted. I especially recommend this for those who are neurodivergent and don't do well with traditional planners or appointment books.
