I am addicted to these little houses. Just this one had a lot of paper folding, the tiny coffee cups and rose buds. But over all very happy with it.

I have to agree with the previous reviewer who said some of the materials were disappointing. This is my 3rd dollhouse and the quality was lacking in some pieces; there was a lot of paper as opposed to cardboard and wood and there was no pattern provided at all. I had to use my measuring tape for all the fabric cut outs. Speaking of which, one of my fabric pieces was missing (red tartan fabric); I had to supply my own fabric for the computer chair and use some extra white fabric for the bookcase linens. Also, the “frame” of the house isn’t perfect. I have a couple gaps in places that should sit flush, but it’s not a huge deal since there are a lot of pieces in the house to overlook that.Instructions were much worse compared to other dollhouse kits. I don’t recommend this dollhouse for straight beginners.Lastly, there is no music box/movement. The original description says that a music box is included but mine didn’t have one. Usually the music box is in a plastic baggy with the battery box. Instead I received a battery box thrown in without any protection with the protector battery door unattached.In the end I was happy with how it all turned out, but the minor annoyances kept me from giving this dollhouse a full 5 stars.

I've done roughly 8 or so dollhouse kits. I have to say that this is a very high quality and beautiful kit- but also quite challenging. I think it was the most difficult one I have ever done, but probably the most beautiful. I'm really glad this wasn't my first dollhouse. I ended up with a big hole in the roof which I covered with fake moss. The instructions and materials are high quality. As always with these kits, it is very intricate and time-consuming work to put together but for the right type of person, so much fun and very rewarding. I would recommend this kit to anyone who already has quite a few dollhouse kits under their belt. Wonderful company! Well done! Will absolutely be buying more kits from this company in the future. :)
