Do It Yourself Fabulous Foam Great Gliders - Crafts for Kids and Fun Home Activities

I purchased this kit to make with my youth group at church. Our children range from 5 to 12 years old. It was a super easy craft that the older kids helped the younger children to complete. Then we had a great time with an airplane flying race.

These were a great project for the kids at church. They went together easily and they even flew! Some of the foam is thinner than the others which made the plastic nose pieces too loose. We solved that problem by putting a couple pieces of tape on the foam and slipped the nose piece over the tape. The stickers were perfect and the kids loved decorating them! Great buy for the price.

Cute little craft set for my airplane obsessed 3 year old. They do not glide that great but my son is more into them crashing anyhow. There were not instructions on how to put them together but it is pretty straight forward. I just looked at the pic on Amazon . The plastic piece goes on the nose of the plane fyi

Fun project for birthday party, but they really don't fly well. Good news is none of them got stuck in a tree or went over the neighbors fence! 😂

Brought these on a family vacation and kids of all ages enjoyed. I had this and a kit for older kids and we had plane races when they were done. Kept multiple kids busy for a while and they kept going back. Great craft to have on hand and or for parties and family events!

TIP-the reason the plastic nose piece doesn't always stay on isnt bc of the plastic part, the foam pieces vary in thickness. We either folded the nose slightly or took a foam letter and wrapped it around the nose. I wish they were a bit more ridged. Quality I'd actually rate a 3 but the kids had fun with them as a craft for our home bday party so I gave it a 4. I got stickers at the dollar store and the kids used those too. I would say it's a fun project if you keep expectations low and know its something to fill time and maybe give kids a favor they make. The kids went outside to fly them but I didnt see how they worked bc I was helping other kids finish theirs. I heard some flew and some didn't. I bet if they were all thicker foam it would be better. I'm glad I purchased them.
