My daughter had a similar system done professionally and discussed doing a course in them. We found these and thought it was worth trying for her to practice with. They look just as good as the professional ones and last about the same length of time 3 wks.

Nail was brilliant constantly breaking them

The gel isn’t really working well since the next day they fall of but that might just me using them wrong. I don’t want them to go to waist so I still use the nails just with a different gel

I was quite impressed with this product, on first use it took me about 3-3.5 hours for a full set of nails; that’s doing one nail at a time as the lamp you get is very small. I’m no expert in nails, but have always painted my own, maintained cuticles etc and have been getting acrylic extensions for years.I followed the steps outlined in the pack, the only additional thing I did was to sand the nail tip where I was applying glue as I’d researched a little more online and many people said this helped adhesion. Also used my own OPI UV gel nail polish on top, which is 4 coats (base + 2 colour + top) which helped to thicken the feel of the nail and strengthen. When first applied the tips are still quite bendy.Overall quite impressed with how the nail looked and felt once finished. As you can see in the photo I kept them a reasonable length on my first try - but they looked as good as acrylics I would say!One week later and the first nail has fully come off - no nail breakage, it just popped off of my thumb nail. Others are starting to catch hairs as they grow out, so definitely don’t last as long as acrylics but I’d say a really good alternative if you enjoy doing nails at home! And the kit is cheaper than a full set of acrylics.One other thing to note is the nail/glue has left a faint yellow green stain on my nail - not sure what this is but I’ve tried to buff it off and it’s not budging.

Decent little kit, first use my nails lasted 10 days, then after first use glue didn’t seem as strong. Also causes me a mild reaction, my finger nails itch using this kit.The lamp is small and makes it tricky when trying to hold down the nail in place while curing ( if you don’t hold it in place for first 10 seconds of curing it slides off)

Used these tips once did not use the glue as had my own they were easy to use as I’m a nail tech sizing was a bit different to others I’ve used overall they are ok

I wanted to try this set as it contains everything in one kit and I specifically wanted to try the mini lamp.The variety of nail sizes is great, I found the perfect fit for all but one of my fingers but this was an easy fix as I filed the slightly too large size down to fit.I love that the kit includes a dehydrator and even though I already have my own, I used the one in the kit.I applied the glue to both my natural nail in a thin layer and also onto the pre-etched tip. The fact that the tip is pre-etched is such a time saver and gives extra adhesion.After pressing the nail tip into place, I did find it fiddly getting into the mini lamp but this is because I held the tip in place with my fingers rather than the clips at first and flashed cured each nail one by one. Once I used the clips, the mini lamp was much easier to navigate.After applying all nails, I fully cured in my big nail lamp and as extra step I then blended the cuticle area to give a more natural looking fit and buffed all over the nail before applying gel polish and nail art.So far, I have had these nails on for 3 days with no issues and I will add an update of how long they have lasted once they start to wear or outgrow.I am looking forward to trying more products from this brand.
