PAAVANIAyurveda - EYE WASH RITUAL

I was nervous to use this, but I wear contact lenses and there are times my eyes are just SHOT at the end of the day. This eye wash smells really nice and felt good in my eyes, I figure if I can put Visine or other over the counter treatments in there .. why not some herbals and essential oils? I like it and it smells great.

Who would have thought rose and lavender oils could be put in your eyes. I have extreme dry eye for years now finally found a routine that works and this is a part that works

I was given this Eye Wash kit for free in order to provide an unbiased review as a part of Amazon's Vine program. I have been using alternative health remedies for more than 30 years, but this was the first time that I used an Ayurvedic treatment for my eyes, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Previously, I've used the old standby of cold black tea to wash my eyes, or sterile eye drops. First of all, the fragrance of this eye wash is intoxicating. The mixture of rose and lavender went straight up my nose to invigorate my senses. I love it. The trick, however, with this eye wash is the position of the cup. I'm used to looking down into an eye cup and blinking into the liquid. With this one, I followed the instructions and tilted my head back, and of course, splish splash, it dribbled down my face onto my shirt. I've mastered it (sort of) by holding the cup more snuggly around my eye. The initial feeling, naturally, is overwhelmingly wet, then a tightness as my eyes feel oddly dry, then rather quickly after that, they actually feel clean. And because it smells so good, I now sprinkle whatever liquid is left in my cup on my hair. I hope this helps you.

The picture shows a cup with the bottle but when it arrived it was only the bottle. I then purchased a separate eye cup

Title says it all. The glass eye dish came in a little cloth bag and was smashed to bits upon arrival. Bummer. Can’t be bothered to return it but sure would like a new eye dish thing.
