I am not sure what all of the hype is about the odor. Does it have a rubber scent to it? Yes, a small one when you first take it out of the plastic. But that is because it is rubber. What were people thinking it would smell like... Roses? I was using the simply fit board on tile and I slid all over the place. Then I put a thick rug under it and it just bunched up terribly. Then I put a thin rug under it and it it gave me little to no support. I also tried a rug with a rubber back and that did not work either. This mat does not 100% stay in once place on tile, but it sure does a heck of a lot better than everything else I have tried.Quick shipping and low cost. I am very pleased!~

This is perfect to use to save your carpet or flooring from marks using the fit board. It does have a slight smell when first unrolled but after a couple of days on the front porch the scent has disapated. A must have with the simply fit board.

I love this product. It does just what it says. Many people complained their boards have cracked but that has not been my experience and I do 200 to 500 twists a day. What I love about this product is that it isn't really like exercising. Put on the t.v., a movie, or some music and voila 200 twists is nothing!! It's easy to use. I love my color choice. Helps with balance, coordination and yes it does help carve your middle section. I've already recommended it to friends. Also, the cd is cool but not necessary if you are imaginative you'll come up with your own ways of using this board. But I do RECOMMEND getting the mat. Take care of your floor!! And be prepared for the mat to smell rubbery (duh...it's rubber) for a few days...other than that,

I was hesitant about purchasing this mat because of all the negative reviews regarding the smell. Then I figured at $9.99, why not give it a try. I’m glad I did. Does it smell initially...YES! However, if you do what’s recommended on the sticker on the front of the mat and lay outside overnight to air out, the smell will no longer be an issue. If you have a simply fit board, this mat is a must have! It keeps the board in place, no slipping whatsoever.

Love this as it protects my tile floor and the bottom of my board. I did leave it out in the garage to air out for 2 days to get rid of that gym mat smell that others mentioned. It wasn't that strong and you could only smell it when you were near it, but I don't like that smell. The size is fine, if you are balancing correctly on the board, you should stay on the center anyways. I found it easier to use on file over carpet. The mat will get scuffed up, but still that's what it's for right? I prefer that over my tile flooring.

It is very small. Should have paid attention to the dimensions. Not much room to "walk" the board around. It also is curled so tight that it takes a very long time to flatten out. It has been over a week and it is still not flat. It does the job and is brightly colored but really wondering why it was thirty dollars for such a small item.

Works awesome with the Simply Fit Board. I mean, yeah it's another $20.00 to spend. But if you've got the money, go for it. If you don't have the money, use a bathmat or something. Anything to protect the floor or carpet. With the particular material of this customer fit board mat, you still get the best glide possible for your board. I bought this for my girlfriend to go with her board, which I also use sometimes. We were using a bathmat since this was listed as "not available" for so long. I was happy to see it back in stock and even more pleased when I realized how smooth it was. Really goes great together with the board... if you don't mind the extra $20 on top of what you already paid for the board. It looks great too.

Very good quality. Was using a thin folded personal blanky underneath my Fitboard on the floor until I received this. This mat is the same width longways as the Fitboard, takes up less space and is much easier to deal with and use than the blanky. Slight smell if you get your nose right on it, but otherwise not noticeable.

Da ich in meiner Wohnung Parkettboden habe, habe ich die Matte zum Fit board mit bestellt.Leider hatte sie einen so penetranten Geruch, dass ich immer wieder lüften musste.Ihren Zweck erfüllt sie auch nur bedingt. Bewegt man sich länger und intensiver auf dem board,rutscht man von der Matte und muss sich immer wieder in Position bringen.

Great to add to my fit board kit. Would of given 5 stars, yet cardboard box it came in was excessively large, and I had to leave the mat in a different room for a few days for the scent (off gas after removing plastic) was very very strong.
