and durable - this unit easily holds my wife
Strong, attractive, and durable - this unit easily holds my wife, one of our dogs, and me without a hint of fail (I'm 160, she's 100, dog is 30lbs.). Easy to get in and out of, a nice gentle swing if you want it, extremely comfortable over several hours' time. No "rope marks" on your body after using it. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. (See photos). We use this in conjuction with another highly recommended stand: Vivere 15BEAM-ORB Heavy Duty 3-Beam Hammock Stand, 15-Feet, Oil-Rubbed Bronze (http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B007J01RX8) w/ optional wheel kit for easy moving: Vivere WHEEL Hammock Stand Wheel Kit (http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B002URN7DI).Very solid stand, with this caveat: We keep and use it in our screen porch, so it is not subject to a lot of UV/weather/rain/snow/etc.I purchased 800 lb. rated chains and S-hooks to mount this hammock to the stand. Don't go cheap on hooks/chains, we had weaker ones comedic-ly break on us first day of use ;-)

Good quality. Comfy pillow! 💓
I love that this is a mesh fabric that dries quickly. We had a similar hammock for 19 years that just finally wore out. I would expect this new one to last as long. Comfy for 2 people and I love the pillow.

Chains in photo are NOT included
We had this exact hammock for five years, it wore out in the sun. I went to My Orders, found it and used Buy Again to purchase. The photos show mounting chains, which are no longer included. I had our old ones, but to move them over required grinding a link out and purchasing a set of chain Repair Links at Home Depot for $6 and an hour of my life. I believe the ad needs to be modified to accurately represent the current product.

Great, good-looking hammock!
This hammock arrived quickly and was easy to set up with the 15' metal stand that we already had. Very pleased with the easy to clean and quick drying fabric. The pattern is sharp-looking as well. Super comfortable with tie-on pillow included. Very happy with this quality purchase!

Looks beautiful, and comfy too, but ropes broke in 2.5 weeks for unknown reason...
Well, I have a revised review now. This Hammock was installed at our rental cabin around 6/23 and today it is in a box to be returned. I'm disappointed since I worked to find a replacement hammock that would coordinate with the dark green canopy of the rope hammock I'm replacing.I try to be completely FAIR about my reviews, so what I can tell you is that I can't really be sure what caused the ropes on this Hammock to fail... but they have failed terribly [see photos]. It could have been a very heavy renter over the 250 lb limit, or just kids playing on it too rough. we've had 3-4 different vacation renter family groups at the cabin in the 2.5 weeks since it was installed. OR it could have been defective rope or too thin rope not up for this purpose. OR it could have been an animal that chewed the rope. However, we've had the former hammock made of ALL Rope up here in this exact spot for 6 years, of the total 15 years since it was new, without any animal damage. So maybe there are "eco-friendly" bio-degradable products in this rope that are more attractive to critters. My neighbor, who installed this for me said that he didn't think the hammock would hold up because it was very light and the ropes were very thin. Of course, I'm only hearing that now when he's on the phone with me while taking it down to box it up.I'm going to try to get one more other version of the "under $100" types to see if it will last at least two seasons. My logic is that renters often just generally stain things up, mostly by getting pine sap on them with their shoes on, so I could get a really nice expensive one that would hold up for another 10 years, but it would look terrible with black blotches of dirt stuck to sap, etc, after one or two summer rental seasons. Wish me luck! I'll review the next one in person since I go out next month.Former Review on 6/23/16: Holdover product review for Algoma 13 ft Quick Dry HammockI'm known for my comprehensive reviews, so this will have to be a holdover. I purchased this for our rental cabin in Tahoe. One renter has used it so far and thinks it is great. Looks like it is the correct size, as described, and it is comfortable. I will give this a proper full review when I arrive at the cabin in September.
