Works fine. Minimal function on or off. No zoom or varying brightnesses. It came with batteries installed. To make functional, unscrew endcap, remove black plastic insulating disk from top of battery case, screw endcap on again.When putting the light away, I discovered in time that a slight accidental bounce on the bulging switch button turns the light on, so I unscrewed the endcap and replaced the black insulator disk, since I expect to use the light only intermittently.

I was looking for Short Wave UV and got Long Wave UV .Not all of us know what the numbers mean for the wave length.

Completely wasted my money. The first month was great, then it fell apart and it was very sensitive, not always working when it was turned on. Not even 3 months later and it already broke. Don't buy it. It's just a disappointment.

It works as described, its bright enough to check the IDs and weird things on walls. Also useful when you're looking for bugs and stuff.

I got this to more thoroughly clean up dog messes, the light reacted to both (what I believe was) urine and vomit. Disturbingly, I did find a few areas I did not clean as well as I had wanted or had missed entirely so I'm glad I got it. It had pretty good illumination when used in almost total darkness. It comes with batteries included, which is pretty sweet, you just remove a little plastic piece that prevents it from being turned on until you buy it. It also comes with a weird touch screen dongle thing that I just threw away because I have no need for it and don't understand why I would want it with a black light flash light. I bought this for half the price it is currently selling for though, I wouldn't pay more for it as there are quite a few other vendors selling the same thing.

Light worked for finding dye but stopped working after two minutes. Had to put aluminum foil on battery to make the connection.

It photo look like strong light but not just what the price cost and product make sense.
