As I Am Curling Jelly, 8 Ounce

Absolutely love the As I Am Curling Jelly! This 8oz bottle has been a game-changer for my curls. It defines them beautifully without any crunch or stickiness. My hair stays soft, bouncy, and frizz-free all day. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enhance their natural curls!

I have long medium curly fine hair. I have been using this hair product for many years. It plumps up my curls, it is not crunchy, my hair still feels soft. It is reasonably priced.

This is the second As I Am product I have purchased and an surprisingly happy with it. I have always believed a gel needs to form a hard cast in order for the curl to hold. When I used this product and the gel did not form a cast, I was expecting to have to redo my hair the next morning. Well, I'm on day three and my curls are perfect and soft! Another reviewer had stated this gel was watery. It is not as thick as the Curlsmith in Shower Hair Fixer, but I have to admit my hair looks fabulous and has never been softer. I like the fact it is in a jar and doesn't need to be squeezed from a tube. I have also purchased As I Am shampoo, conditioner and Castor Oil water spray, but I have not used them yet. I have used the cowash and it's the best I've used by far. I think I will be replacing my Curlsmith products as they run out with As I Am. What a find!

I like this a lot, it's a really effective curl definer, but it's a little tricky for fine curls. It's a sort of syrupy consistency, which makes it a bit hard to use out of the tub. I think a pump bottle would be way better. You do need quite a bit, but it's also easy to overdo for my hair type. When I get it right, I have bouncy, defined curls. If I overdo it, my hair comes out with strongly defined curls but a slightly tacky feeling. For fine curly hair, putting this on dripping wet hair with a generous hand works best. The curls hold up for day but go flat if you sleep on them, bit you can plump them back up the next morning with spray products from the same brand or even just water in a spray bottle. (Oh, and it has barely any scent, which I love.)

I was using MopTop for the longest time, but their price kept jumping, so I tried this. IT'S DIVINE! Not as sticky as Moptop, and does a great job of creating curls in my naturally wavy hair. I love it. I first run California Naturals conditioner through my long hair--just a quarter size in my palm--then a good silver dollar size amount of As I Am, and tit works like a charm! LOVE THIS STUFF! And, it's priced well for long hair, since I go through one of these a month.

I thought that this would be a lot thicker but it’s not. It’s hard to curl my stubborn gray but it hold a little and give me some curls to my pattern. Scent is nice, leaves a little residue in my hair

This product is light and makes my curls curly without frizz.

Super nourrissant (il ne faut pas en mettre trop sinon cheveux poisseux), il ne durcit pas les cheveux, belles définition de boucles qu’on a déjà naturellement, les assèches pas. Top ! Je l’avais acheté la première fois dans le magasin Colorful Black sur Paris, ça a été un coup de cœur depuis je le rachète tout le temps avec la lotion hydratante. J’aime beaucoup la marque AS I Am, ils font de super produits.

J’ai acheté ce produit qu’une copine m’a conseillé je ne regrette absolument pas l’odeur est genial la texture top et elle fait parfaitement son taf boucle bien definies cette gelée c’est un véritable plaisir à l’utiliSation je suis deja a plus de la moitié du pot je pense vite le recommander

My naturally- sometimes frizzy!! hair loves this stuff. It allows me to dry my hair naturally and leaves it so soft. I've learnt to embrace those curls.

Muy recomendable si tienes el pelo rizado o ondulado y buscas definir los rizos sin que queden duros o apelmazados. Este Curling Jelly de As I Am nos ha parecido bastante bueno para definir el rizo de forma natural. En nuestro caso lo hemos usado sobre el pelo húmedo y ayuda bastante a marcar la forma del rizo sin dejar ese efecto “cartón” que tienen algunos geles. Lo que más nos ha gustado es que define bastante bien y mantiene la forma durante el día, sobre todo si se usa con una buena técnica de secado o difusor. El rizo queda más ordenado y con menos encrespamiento. También se nota que no es un producto pesado, por lo que no deja el pelo apelmazado si se aplica la cantidad justa. Como punto menos positivo, si te pasas con la cantidad puede dejar algo de residuo o sensación pegajosa, y en cabellos muy finos hay que aplicarlo con cuidado para no sobrecargar. En general, es un buen gel para definir rizos de forma natural y mantenerlos controlados durante el día. Pros: * Buena definición del rizo * No deja el pelo rígido tipo “cartón” * Reduce el encrespamiento * Ligero si se usa bien * Aguanta bien durante el día Contras: * Puede dejar residuos si se usa demasiado * Algo pegajoso con exceso de producto * Requiere ajustar cantidad según tipo de pelo Conclusión: Muy buena opción para definir rizos de forma natural y mantenerlos controlados sin perder movimiento.
