I have no idea, but it's the worse mat I ever owned. It kept rolling up, so I helped it rolled it into the trash can.

Q: The description says it's made of pvc but contains no polyvinyl chloride, yet pvc is the abbreviation for polyvinyl chloride. which is it?

"Made of PVC and free of the BPA. It contains no polyvinyl chloride" this is obviously an error. I can't believe the manufacturer hasn't answered or corrected this.

Q: How much weight will this mat hold without cracking/breaking?

Scooting is more the problem than cracking/breaking. It doesn't work for having a rolling chair on at all for me. I'm probably just going to repurpose it to having a (mostly stationary) table sitting on it and get something thicker than won't scoot/roll up when I move an office chair around on it.
