I had some Scotch double-sided tape on hand, and placed it on the tabletop. I then placed the mouse Pad on the tape, and pressed down on the surface of the pad. It now stays put. I’ve been using this mouse daily as I travel. The non-slip base is solid. Once it’s on the desk, it stays in place and doesn’t shift around during the day. I also like that it lays flat right out of the package and doesn’t have that curled edge issue. Overall, it’s simple, well-made, and reliable. Works wonderfully with the Apple Magic Mouse. One thing to consider if the mouse will not respond with the pad, is to check the feet of your mouse. I had a problem at first with the mouse not working , dragging and hesitating. I didn't realize the little plastic feet that run along the bottom could be the culprit!
