Hobbs Batting Tuscany 100% Washable Wool x 120in, 120" x 120"/King

I really hate to rate this so low but this batting is no where near as nice as the Hobbs Heirloom wool batting. I found it VERY,VERY inconsistent as far as thickness as another reviewer also stated, I found this to be rather a disappointing factor for machine quilting. For hand quilting it would be difficult at best. Also this wool batting has a LOT more course texture or feel compared to the softer Heirloom Wool, this feels almost like a scratchy polyester! I have used the Heirloom before, wish I had ordered that instead. This Tuscany has a lot of loft, more than the heirloom, at least it seems that way to me. I have pieces of both leftover, side by side...one is a peach, the other, the Tuscany earns a lemon score.

Thin, uneven weave. I am a longtime quilter and this purchase left more than a little to be desired. I am contacting company with pictures to voice my disappointment. I would submit no star rating had I been able on this website!

First time I've used wool batting, and I liked the puff and hand it gave the quilt. However, this batting was terribly inconsistent in thickness. Some areas were real thin, and other areas were so thick it was a little difficult to free motion quilt on.

This wool batting did not feel as soft as I have found other wool batting. It was a bit disappointing.

I love the warmth it gives the quilts I’m making. It helps show off the stitching because it has a little more pouf than the polyester or cotton batting’s.

Love this batting. Mostly in the past I've used Hobbs Wool batting, but I find that the "Tuscany Collection" comes much less wrinkled and creased and is a step up from just the "plain" Hobbs wool batting.

Really liked quilting with this

This is awesome batting I have never bought wool batting before it is so soft.I have not used it yet so I can't say anything about how it quilts up . I will be using it in a quilt I am going to hand quilt
