DMatcha's Organic Hojicha uses a proprietary blend of high quality green tea leaves, pan-red and slow roasted in the traditional methods in Kyoto. Most Hojicha tea uses lower quality Bancha leaves making for a bitter taste, however, DMatchas Organic Hojicha uses only 100% autumn leaves, oering notes of mesquite and an extremely smooth nish. Hojicha is often drunk after evening meals due to the low caeine content. Our tetra shaped teabags, made from cornstarch, are used for a premium quality brew, releasing more nutrients and avour over traditional teabags.
