I’ve used the one which came on the compressor for 8 years but I wanted one which was larger. That way I can see it across the shop. This fit the bill perfectly. Quality manufacturer & easy to read dial. I’d like to have gotten a 1/2” bigger but for double the price it wasn’t worth it, this is a great value so I stayed with it.Remember to stay within 75% of the gauges max pressure, per the manufacturer recommendation. So a 300psi gauge should be used up to 225psi on a regular basis. My compressor is 150psi shut off so I’m well within limits. The best thing is at a distance you can easily see the 150 mark as it’s horizontal based on my application.The only thing I wish was different was that it was a single scale in psi. That would make it even easier to to read & PSI is all I want or need!

I chose a 2-1/2" gauge for visibility, being mounted on the wall above my stationary compressor and it's air outlet. The 160 lb is best for my compressors operating range of 90 >130 PSI as it falls into the mid scale of the gauge. It is installed after the moisture trap, plus separator, which protects the gauge and everything downstream. Being mounted off compressor prevents vibration and resulting wear/slop of the gauges internal mechanism. It's proven to be accurate and responds smoothly. Would highly recommend.

Winters gauges appear to be high-quality and accurate. The pipe threads are cut nicely and the overall finish looks quality. In my application monitoring pressure drop across a water filter, I expect it to last for many, many years.

08-JUL-2016: I bought four of these to measure the pressure across filter elements for my home. So far, so good. They appear to have approximately the same calibration, +/- 1 psi relative to each other. If any issues arise, I will return to update my review.

A little pricey but looks good...

I like it for the application I have, not to exceed 100 psi. Seems to be very sensitive for small variations in pressure, great for the price. Bought three units. Could not find such gauges anywhere I went in my town.
