These are good quality linen canvases at a fantastic price!

Paint doesn’t adhere properly to these canvases. They are primed already, so I just started with a base layer of acrylic. I let it completely dry, and when I added more on top it took the bottom layer off.

I just wanted some 16x20 canvases for my husband. Normally he gets pretty cheap canvasses at one of the local art stores and, as he has just started painting again, I wanted him to enjoy it. I mean, since we’re stuck at home with the pandemic, might as well, right? These canvasses seemed perfect for that.The first thing my husband notices was their really nice, fine weave. It’s fine enough for portrait work with just enough tooth to hold the paint without being too slippery/smeary. He didn’t have to prime them and the frame quality, fit, and finish are really good. These are not super thin canvasses; another plus. And they are the perfect size to hang on your wall or to reduce the finished painting and print on medium-sized gift cards.For $10 per canvas, you really can’t ask for much more. I recommend them.
