I took a chance on this lap desk and I’m so glad I did. It is nearly perfect for my use on the living room sofa. Pros * The height, at its shortest, is perfect for typing while I am on the sofa. No more awkwardly balancing my laptop or my iPad in my lap to type! * It’s very simple to adjust. I don’t anticipate needing to extend the legs, but it’s really easy to do. Likewise, I probably won’t need to use the tilting top, but it’s also very simple to set up. * It’s very sturdy and stable. Rock solid on a table top. * The piece that keeps a laptop from sliding off when you have the desktop tilted is removable. In fact, it comes detached and tucked into the drawer. That’s great because it would otherwise be in the way. * It is beautiful and the craftsmanship is top notch. Cons * The drawer is super tight in the slides. It’s very hard to open. Once it’s open, it’s hard to close. For me, that’s not a big enough deal to warrant removing a star. This is a great piece of furniture. The creator obviously put a lot of thought into its design. It’s attractive and functional and I look forward to using it for many years to come.

I spent days surfing the web for the most efficient, sturdy, and cost effective foldable desk. I didn't know what to choose from as there are tons of options within my price range and mixed reviews. I was hesitant on this purchase because of some of the negative feedback. Every dollar counts these days. First of all...it's sturdy as heck. Very thick wood and kind of heavy. Not flimsy at all and so far no splinters, which I was worried about. Secondly, it's so well made that anyone can assemble it the moment it is unboxed. There is plenty of leg room and the little drawer is perfect for pens. The drawer requires a little bit of wiggle when opening and closing the drawer but its not anything to complain about. What I love most is the peg that holds up my laptop and large texts. I was concerned about it not being thick enough to support larger books but it works like a charm. The last thing I'm loving is the capability to read and write and the same time. I can have my books supported in an upright position at an angle while I write notes on the flat board next to it. This saves me from having to visit the library for table room. I'm highly recommending this product for anyone that wants to study or write from the comfort of their own bed or couch.

This is a nice bed or sofa tray! The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is two reasons. The first is how slick the entire top is. I don't mind the the laptop area being slick as many laptops have rubber feet. But if you want to put your iPad or phone or even a book on there, it's going to be quick slick and move around. Where it's worse is on the mouse side for those of us who can't part from an external mouse. The table top is very slick. I'm used to having a built in pad of some sort on that side, so when I would shift and the table tilted, the mouse stayed put. With this table it slides right off like it was a sheet of ice. It's just a matter of getting used to it I guess. The 2nd reason for the 4 stars is the drawer. It's a little smaller than the old tray and it sticks. I took an old candle that had melted down and and rubbed it in the grooves. That helped tremendously! On the plus side, I love the adjustable legs and the locking mechanism to keep the legs from collapsing! My old table, the legs liked to fold under if you tried to move it aside. With this tray, the legs lock in place! Or if you fold it up to set aside, the legs don't flop out if you don't have a hold of them. They are locked under when stowed. You can also adjust the length of the legs, raising it up or lowering it down. This is a plus because I want it up high for one project and down lower for another. Having the option to set it my way is NICE! Being able to lock the legs is even BETTER! Over all, a very nice table for the money!

This laptop desk is just the thing I needed to make working from home easier. I set it on top of my desk, over my keyboard, so I can use my company-issued laptop at the same time as my home computer to do my job. It's minimum height adjustment is still a bit taller than is comfortable in this arrangement, but it's still lower than the measurements I've seen for most non-adjustable lap tables. It fits comfortably over my keyboard, which is full sized with a ten-key, and I still have enough room for my stationary mouse on the desk. All the listed features work well, the one exception being the small drawer on the side. As others have noted it sticks, does not open easily, and in my case will not open the entire way. Personally I don't care as I only ever intended to use it to store the set of rubber feet that weren't currently in use. It could even be a good thing as it means I don't need to worry about it sliding open while I'm moving the table and dumping things out. If the drawer is a selling point for you you may be disappointed. It would have been nice if the table had a raised lip around the edge to keep pens and other things from rolling off. I considered other products that had this option, but it was more important to have the adjustable height legs and leg locks; I'd rather it not shift and tip over and dump my laptop on the floor. It is reasonably sturdy, and I like that this seller actually lists the specific weight it is tested for, instead of being vague and saying that it was tested “for a certain weight” as some others have in their listings. Over all a good product, with many adjustable features to accommodate different positions, and safety latches to keep those features from adjusting themselves by accident while you use or store it.

I really love this laptop bed tray. I spend most of my time in bed due to medical issues and needed some type of tray to use for a new art hobby. It was important that the tray tilted and had a reasonable price point. This tray exceeded my expectations. It works perfectly for me, tilting at quite a few different angles and easily adjusting to different heights. Plus, it has a side drawer that’s very handy for my pens and other small equipment. The finish is smooth and lovely, so I had no need to sand it. I’ve had no problems with the drawer as other reviewers have. It opens and closes very smoothly. I also use the tray when I’m on my IPad. It has a removable wooden ledge that keeps the IPad and art canvas from sliding off the tray. The ledge can be stored in the side drawer, which I find very handy. I have no criticisms about this product and would purchase it again.

The desk is small size, good for a kid. Got it for my kid who likes to sit on the floor and do homework. The slanting is why I bought this for her, but it is missing the wooden ledge, so it's not useful right now. Wrote to product support, got a response within 24 hr, the ledge was in the drawer. My DD loves this desk. And it came in teh manufacturer's box. 5 stars for desk design, 5 stars for being eco-friendly, and 5 stars for customer service.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS TABLE‼️Just what I needed. Have been diagnosed with degenerative discs and other neck and back issues. Love coloring in the evenings to help me relax but have not been able to do this for months do to neck and back pain. This puts my books at eye level so now I don’t have to bend my neck down to see what I am doing. Appears to be very well made. SO HAPPY‼️

It works well, and looks nice. It's sturdy and the leg adjustments aren't as cumbersome as I thought it might be. Great product!

La mesa parece resistente y es amplia. Sin embargo, hay algunas cuestiones que no me gustaron mucho. El seguro de la mesa viene descarapelado (se observa en la foto). También, los protectores de las patas huelen demasiado a hule y, por último, los protectores grandes de las patas no caben en el cajón sin aplastarse, por lo que las estaré guardando aparte de la mesa :(

Very happy with this purchase. The table is sturdy & well made, it's the perfect size for my full sized laptop which I can use with the adjustable part tilted up slightly, or I can put it down flat & use for eating my meal from. Probably the only thing that I would have like is an indent to use as a cup holder but it doesn't really matter. The drawer on the side is ok but a bit small to really use. It can fit a couple of pens in it but that's about it. Overall this is a great little table & I'm happy with it.
