I took a chance on this lap desk and I’m so glad I did. It is nearly perfect for my use on the living room sofa. Pros * The height, at its shortest, is perfect for typing while I am on the sofa. No more awkwardly balancing my laptop or my iPad in my lap to type! * It’s very simple to adjust. I don’t anticipate needing to extend the legs, but it’s really easy to do. Likewise, I probably won’t need to use the tilting top, but it’s also very simple to set up. * It’s very sturdy and stable. Rock solid on a table top. * The piece that keeps a laptop from sliding off when you have the desktop tilted is removable. In fact, it comes detached and tucked into the drawer. That’s great because it would otherwise be in the way. * It is beautiful and the craftsmanship is top notch. Cons * The drawer is super tight in the slides. It’s very hard to open. Once it’s open, it’s hard to close. For me, that’s not a big enough deal to warrant removing a star. This is a great piece of furniture. The creator obviously put a lot of thought into its design. It’s attractive and functional and I look forward to using it for many years to come.

Works for students at your home, fits laptop, is sturdy, nice color and material, right meassurements.

PROS- Very solid build. Not shaky or loose at all. Looks great. Adjustable legs to raise or lower the height. Part of the top (15.5 inches wide of about 22.5 total) can also be tilted up making for a more comfortable reading position. There is a stopper at the bottom of this part that prevents your book, laptop, tablet or whatever from sliding off while tilted. The legs fold up for flat storage. CONS- There is a drawer that simply does not slide out readily on the one I got. It takes way too much effort to open and close. The face on the drawer is also not sanded down/finished as smooth as can be. Bottomline- Good for the price. Great for reading, writing, or typing in bed. I would not recommend for eating because the top is smooth and there are no raised edges around the perimeter to prevent spills from rolling off unto your bed. This would have been great if the drawer worked as it should but given the overall build and look it is a good value.

This laptop desk is just the thing I needed to make working from home easier. I set it on top of my desk, over my keyboard, so I can use my company-issued laptop at the same time as my home computer to do my job. It's minimum height adjustment is still a bit taller than is comfortable in this arrangement, but it's still lower than the measurements I've seen for most non-adjustable lap tables. It fits comfortably over my keyboard, which is full sized with a ten-key, and I still have enough room for my stationary mouse on the desk. All the listed features work well, the one exception being the small drawer on the side. As others have noted it sticks, does not open easily, and in my case will not open the entire way. Personally I don't care as I only ever intended to use it to store the set of rubber feet that weren't currently in use. It could even be a good thing as it means I don't need to worry about it sliding open while I'm moving the table and dumping things out. If the drawer is a selling point for you you may be disappointed. It would have been nice if the table had a raised lip around the edge to keep pens and other things from rolling off. I considered other products that had this option, but it was more important to have the adjustable height legs and leg locks; I'd rather it not shift and tip over and dump my laptop on the floor. It is reasonably sturdy, and I like that this seller actually lists the specific weight it is tested for, instead of being vague and saying that it was tested “for a certain weight” as some others have in their listings. Over all a good product, with many adjustable features to accommodate different positions, and safety latches to keep those features from adjusting themselves by accident while you use or store it.

I spent days surfing the web for the most efficient, sturdy, and cost effective foldable desk. I didn't know what to choose from as there are tons of options within my price range and mixed reviews. I was hesitant on this purchase because of some of the negative feedback. Every dollar counts these days. First of all...it's sturdy as heck. Very thick wood and kind of heavy. Not flimsy at all and so far no splinters, which I was worried about. Secondly, it's so well made that anyone can assemble it the moment it is unboxed. There is plenty of leg room and the little drawer is perfect for pens. The drawer requires a little bit of wiggle when opening and closing the drawer but its not anything to complain about. What I love most is the peg that holds up my laptop and large texts. I was concerned about it not being thick enough to support larger books but it works like a charm. The last thing I'm loving is the capability to read and write and the same time. I can have my books supported in an upright position at an angle while I write notes on the flat board next to it. This saves me from having to visit the library for table room. I'm highly recommending this product for anyone that wants to study or write from the comfort of their own bed or couch.

Overall the laptop desk was built well with a thick, sturdy top of clear bamboo. The finish is excellent and the top of my desk looks very nice with a smooth shiny finish. The support at the bottom of the desk really isn't needed and it isn't glued in so I have removed mine. The rubber feet on my laptop grip the desktop well. I drawer is pretty small and fits tight but that should loosen over time and I really don't imagine I will use it. I only have 2 pretty minor complaints: the legs are held in place with 2 metal clips. While they are in the clips are well designed to hold the legs and don't get in the way of the table sitting flat but pulling the clips to open the legs is a little awkward due to the flat design of the clips. I guess you can't have it both ways. The only other minor complaint is that the bamboo surface on the flat part of the desktop to the right does not work smoothly with an optical mouse. It mostly works but I will probably add a mouse pad in the future. Overall I am pleased with the purchase. It is lightweight and convenient to pull out when I want to use my laptop with a mouse. With the flip up design, it is also convenient to hold a book in place if I am reading or to rest my tablet flat on the tilted surface. With the adjustable size legs, I can also vary the height of the laptop desk for comfort. Good design and construction.

I really love this laptop bed tray. I spend most of my time in bed due to medical issues and needed some type of tray to use for a new art hobby. It was important that the tray tilted and had a reasonable price point. This tray exceeded my expectations. It works perfectly for me, tilting at quite a few different angles and easily adjusting to different heights. Plus, it has a side drawer that’s very handy for my pens and other small equipment. The finish is smooth and lovely, so I had no need to sand it. I’ve had no problems with the drawer as other reviewers have. It opens and closes very smoothly. I also use the tray when I’m on my IPad. It has a removable wooden ledge that keeps the IPad and art canvas from sliding off the tray. The ledge can be stored in the side drawer, which I find very handy. I have no criticisms about this product and would purchase it again.

It works well, and looks nice. It's sturdy and the leg adjustments aren't as cumbersome as I thought it might be. Great product!

Very happy with this purchase. The table is sturdy & well made, it's the perfect size for my full sized laptop which I can use with the adjustable part tilted up slightly, or I can put it down flat & use for eating my meal from. Probably the only thing that I would have like is an indent to use as a cup holder but it doesn't really matter. The drawer on the side is ok but a bit small to really use. It can fit a couple of pens in it but that's about it. Overall this is a great little table & I'm happy with it.

Love this laptop table! It’s sturdy, solid, well made, and has a beautiful finish. The adjustable top is perfect for using a laptop, and it also works brilliantly as a breakfast tray in bed. Easy to set up and surprisingly versatile. A lovely, practical addition to the home!
