I like them, they are heavy, made of metal, fit well, and work perfect. I should have purchased them sooner to replace my original black knobs that cost many times more than these. I have no complaints about them. If you need them buy them. What else can be said. They are knos that replace knobs. The difference, is that these are a heavy metal that won't break so easily and the cost a great amount less than the originals.

tl;dr These are metal, high-quality, and a nice fit for my GE stovetop. So glad I purchased!The cheap plastic knobs that came with my appliance in my condo were beginning to fall apart (and dangerously so -- once they failed to turn off the gas). I wanted to order a replacement but all of the official ones were like $30! I was worried that these would be cheap and flimsy but took a chance. So glad I did! Out of the box, the quality was apparent! These are heavy and metal compared to the plastic ones that were installed originally. They are a nice tight fit on the stovetop and I had to push a bit to get them on all the way. Haven't had any issues with these coming off or coming loose or cracking. Beautiful upgrade for my kitchen and a great fix for me!

These knobs are indeed metal and very heavy. They fit perfectly on the D-shafts and don't wobble at all, unlike the aftermarket replacements I've tried before. They look much better than the original black plastic knobs, and they don't melt when a pan bumps them. I've run them through the dishwasher and they haven't discolored.I'm removing one star because they sit visibly higher than the originals, and because the shank is plastic instead of metal. But the plastic is thick, it'll last a long time, and they're cheap enough that if one of them breaks years down the road, I can just buy another set. (GE wants more per knob for OEM plastic knobs than this entire set costs.) I can't believe it took so many years for someone to finally make cheap replacements that look good and don't wobble.

I had bought the set to replace just 1 of my 4 original knobs that came with out GE Range Stove. After feeling how solid these were I immediately pulled the other 3 plastic knows and replaced with the new shiny metal knobs. Nice quick upgrade.

These are great replacement knobs for my G.E counter top gas range. These are a solid metal top compared to the g.e. covered plastic. The stem is not. It is a plastic like material like the originals. With that said I prefer these and they fit nicely... the rest is the continuous training of my family that if they just press the knobs downward when turning them on to light the burner like it. is designed... They won't bust through the stem and need to be replaced. These are a great price compare the the g.e. replacements that can cost as much for one from the manufacturer or a local parts house than the set of 5 of these I changed the entire set and will restock the 2 good originals for use replacements later.

Unfortunately they did not fit and I'm guessing that was my fault. Although I don't know that they had another choice so it's all good

These knobs are value for money and easy to install.. was good fit for my cooktop.

The knobs are very well made. They are better quality than the ones that came with the stove.If you need knobs that don't stick out too far, then simply go ahead and get a thin screwdriver and take out a small tab that is towards the rear of the tube where you insert the knobs onto the stove. Grab the screwdriver and tap on the tab. It will break right away with a little effort . That small piece of plastic is the only thing that's keeping the knobs sticking further out.We have brushed stainless steel finish. These are chrome. They don't look too bad. Better than the originals actually.
