AT&T Cell Phone Signal Booster Band 12/17 Cell Phone Booster 4G LTE 5G Signal Amplifier Repeater Cellular Signal Booster is 5G Compatible, Supports 5G and 4G LTE Devices, Boost Voice and Data (White)

We were a bit skeptical that this would truly boost our signal in any significant way. We used to have 4-5 bars in our home all of the time, and even used an AT&T based cellular internet service (Ubifi) with great results and stability. That all changed when 5G upgrades began to happen in our area. We suddenly had 2-3 bars in the house and could no longer use the cellular ISP at all (no stability/slow speeds). After our house roof was replaced with metal roofing material, we were lucky to get 1 bar in the house and had to stand near a window for reception. Cell phone data browsing was sporadic. We aimed the outdoor antenna at our closest tower, ran the cabling into the house, plugged in the booster unit, and immediately had 5 full bars on our phones. This has remained true...4-5 bars all of the time. We are impressed, and are recommending other family in the area purchase this booster as well.*Note: We do not have 5G signal at our home (we do have 5G capable phones). Our LTE AT&T phone data/internet works just fine and is much faster/more stable than before the booster install (we no longer have Ubifi for household use, so I cannot speak to that/if that would have also improved).Adding this booster did NOT suddenly give us 5G--we didn't have it before either---but DID dramatically increase our signal strength in the house to more closely match the signal strength we have outdoors. We are now able to make/receive clear and stable calls from anywhere in the house and surf using our data with minimal issues. We have band 12 here.Hope this helps! :)

Upon opening, the device looked like it was homemade. It had scuffs on it. Red flag. Instructions were not clear and were even written incorrectly as far as grammar goes. That’s always a red flag when I look at instructions that are written unprofessionally. I did follow the instructions once I figured it out and watched a lot of YouTube videos since this was completely new to me. The device didn’t work. I moved both antennas around several times and reset it several times and it still didn’t work. No signal enhancement. There was no way to call a customer service number which is also a red flag since this was a device that I was installing in my home. I returned it.

Good deal for the price Easy to install and works well no complaints here

I was very skeptical about this purchase. I live in a very wooded area with a metal roof. After installing we went from one bar LTE to 3 bars 5g. Sometimes it bounces to 5 bars LTE. The price was great.

Didn’t work well for my area

Not sure why, but it's not outputting a signal anymore. Used to work great and provide 5 bars in the basement - now back to the 1 bar I had before.

The number of "bars" is tenuous at best and not a good barometer for signal strength. While it did increase the signal from -102dBm to -95dBm the actual increase is minimal, it was NOT enough to make any real gains on signal strength. If you are looking for a significant jump in your dBm or asu numbers, this is not going to help very much.
