Bought this for my son and he hasn't stopped smiling since. Well made and fun. True value for money. Easy to use and simple to put together.

My 8-year-old really enjoys playing with the Nerf gun. It is lightweight but well-made. The darts are easy to load and do not jam. And it's pretty accurate too. Generally, it's a good toy.

I grabbed the Nerf Elite 2.0 Eaglepoint RD-8 for my kid’s outdoor birthday bash, and within minutes the back garden had devolved into a full-scale Hunger Games re-enactment—screaming alliances, sneaky flanking, the works. The blaster absolutely delivers on fun: an eight-dart rotating drum keeps the shots coming, and the clip-on barrel and scope give it that “tactical” look that makes everyone feel like a movie hero. What it nails Range and accuracy – For a spring-powered Nerf it fires respectably straight; with fresh darts we were tagging targets at the far end of the lawn. Tool-free customization – The removable barrel and scope snap on firmly, so older kids and adults can tweak the feel without fiddly screws. Party friendly capacity – Sixteen darts in the box (eight in the drum, eight in the reserve holder) meant fewer pauses to reload during the mayhem. Things to consider Weight for younger children – The blaster’s length and front-heavy design were fine for ten-year-olds and up, but the seven-year-olds tired quickly and needed two hands to steady the prime. Priming force – The bolt action has a satisfyingly chunky pull, but smaller hands struggled after a dozen cycles. Expect a little adult help for the under-8 crowd. Value versus alternatives – For the same money you can find motorized Nerf blasters with higher capacity (or Rival blasters with softer, round ammo). If you’re buying for solo backyard play, those might edge the Eaglepoint. Bottom line The Eaglepoint RD-8 is a blast—literally—for mixed-age skirmishes and looks fantastic in photos, but the heft and priming effort skew it toward older kids and Nerf-mad adults. If you’re hosting a party where parents are happy to join the fray, it’s a crowd-pleaser. For very young players or marathon solo sessions, consider something lighter or motorized. Either way, stock up on extra darts—this thing turns peaceful gatherings into foam-flinging warfare faster than you can shout “District 12!”

Good distance when firing and detachable scope and muzzle. Easy to reload with spares easy access

Good product, however the bullets get stuck in the gun and it is difficult to get them out. Also doesn’t really come with enough bullets, so would recommend getting more bullets alongside this product.

The telescope thing is useless as it’s blurry when you look through it but my son doesn’t care he loves his new nerf gun! The storage for the bullets is a great addition
