Good Publication - Fingerprint
The review is about the product and not the writer's work.Normally Amazon reviews do not mention the publication, hence the reader is confused whether the print is abridged, quality of the print etc. This review is for Fingerprint publication.I have got many classics from Fingerprint publishers. The print size is good. The paper quality is good.Their books in general are unabridged. So it makes sense to go for their version of the book.

The story itself is interesting and after losing my old copy I decided to get a new one. However, this book was so awful I have now repurchased another else where to replace this one. Despite the book being quite big, the text is incredibly small but also awkward in having three columns per page. I am an avid reader but really struggled with this format and couldn’t get past a few pages. Very disappointing and a waste of money.

Pretty cover but not good overall (Seasons Edition - Summer, Hardcover)
The novel itself needs no introduction, or review. The 'Seasons Edition - Summer', limited edition Hardcover from Thomas Nelson is disappointing, however. I wanted a special edition of this classic, and was drawn in by the stunning cover. But, the book contains errors (e.g. Pg 195, 6 lines from the end, 'façade' missing the 'c'), which should be unacceptable in these sort of editions. The paper used looks and feels like printer paper, brilliant white, and very bland compared to usual book paper. The occasional colour pages with highlighted quotes add nothing much, and the quotes seems to be chosen at random. Illustrations would have been a better way of making this a special edition. The cover is indeed a plus point, but overall the edition feels cheap, which is the opposite effect I was hoping for.

Reader, I want to marry him!!!
WOW! What a fantastic book! I managed to read this in just a few days, and probably would have finished it sooner but for the use of old english language. Jane is a character that jumps off the page and enstills within you a real sense of propriety. She has had to suffer such cruelty and hardship in her life and you can't help but agree with her on all points. ( with exception, mind you, in the case of holding back her feelings towards Mr Rochester at the start of their relationship!)Mr Rochester is a true dream of a hero. Move over Darcy and Rhett! He's described in the book as ugly and not at all handsome but on the contrary, I found him truly irrisistable! Even after his disfigurement he comes across as a handsome man in my eyes! His mood swings are just a trifle to be dealt with and, given half the chance, I'd eat all those trifles off the dirty floor!I slightly struggled when it came to the part of where Jane goes and stays with StJohn Rivers and his two sisters, but only because of the language barrier. But I think that the word struggle is too strong a word to use. It didn't stop me from wanting to finish, it just slowed me down. All in all this is a MUST read for all book lovers! The romance is timeless and the scenery is well narrated. You can almost smell the rain and feel the cold. Do yourself a favour and just buy it today, you won't be disappointed!Buy it especially if you liked Gone With The Wind, Wuthering Heights or any of Jane Austen's works.

Gorgeous little book
This is my first purchase of a book from the Macmillan collectors library collection and it is just fabulous. The book is beautifully designed and high quality. The size of the book is very good as well- it could be carried around easily but it’s not so small it affects the print quality. The text is a good size and easy to read. The story itself is a timeless classic and one every reader should read. Overall I am very pleased with this product and definitely recommend this edition!
