It's a great peace of mind tool to have in your car. I lost a friend of mine that got swept away in heavy flooding because he couldn't get out of his car. If he had this tool, he could have easily broken the window to get out since his power locks quit working due to the water. I have one in my truck and one in my wife's Suburban. Its one of those things that you hope you never have to use, but you're glad you have it with you. We keep ours in the center console. That way, if the vehicle wrecks, the tool doesn't go flying through the car to where you can't find it. It is only about 7" long, and it has a smooth metal head on one side, and one very sharp pointed head on the other end. They feel kind of cheap, but they will surely do the job. I've gotten some of these for gifts for family.

Haven’t had to use it yet thankfully, but it seems sturdy and will offer peace of mind.

Hopefully I will never need this tool, but in the event I do, I am sure it can save my life!

I work at a 9-1-1 Dispatcher. I've worked several calls over the years of people who went off in a canal or river and needed to get out of their vehicle. This would've helped. Get one for each car now! And bolt it in somewhere with the holder. Does no good if you can't reach out after the crash. The life you save might be your own!

After seeing so many movies, television shows,and news reports about people crashing and not being able to escape their vehicle; It was only a matter of time before my paranoia forced me to buy this thing. I recently saw a fancy one at a store for way more money because it was marketed to women who were suckers for the glamour hammer. it was fully equipped with rhinestones and a nail file... I mean, are you kidding me? Thank goodness I found this tool. It is simple, straight to the point and the bright orange color makes it easy to spot in case (God forbid) I should ever need to use it.
